Final

Fabulous Against Dangerous [ONE-SHOT]

Zitao took a deep breath as he stepped into the school where he would be spending his final year, the place where he would have to suffer through if he had any intention in getting into the University of his choice. And yes, he was a new student at this place because his parents had made the stupid decision to actually move to a new place in the middle of his semester.

And Zitao wasn’t exactly a sociable person – it had taken his four years to make Baekhyun his best friend. That was a very hard time in his life. Sometimes he wondered how he survived without the eyeliner boy.

Sighing, he clutched onto his bag and placed the sunglasses over his eyes. His extremely expensive Gucci sunglasses.

He may have forgotten to mention that his parents were super rich – therefore, he got everything he wanted.

Including expensive clothes – all of which from Gucci of course.

Which was what he was wearing just now. He had on white skinny jeans with black doc martins over them; on his torso was a black V-neck t-shirt with a black leather jacket over his shoulders.

Tao’s hair was coloured a light blonde, and it was styled over his forehead.

He’s been told many a times by Baekhyun that he should be walking down the catwalk, showing off all of Gucci’s designs, because he wore them the best.

And Tao was one to agree. Not that he was completely vain or whatever, but he knew he looked good.

Moving down the corridors, he kept his eyes in front of him.

But the murmuring was rather loud, yet he ignored it. Zitao had grown used to people talking about him, and he had never had the patience enough to think about whether it was good or bad things.

Class moved on quickly, and soon enough, it was time for lunch. And hell if Zitao was going to spend it in the cafeteria.

Moving out of the building, he took out his car keys from his bag and made his way over to his rather prized Lamborghini. It was bright lime green – his favourite colour, and yes, Tao was very proud of it. Although he didn’t want to make too big an impression on a new school, he couldn’t very leave his baby at home.

As the sweet car came into view, he frowned when he saw a gang of boy’s hanging around directly in front of it.

They were admiring it obviously, but they looked like gang members.

Zitao sighed before he moved quickly over, stopping right in front of them, his eyes piercing into their skulls through his sunglasses. There were a total of five of them and they definitely looked trouble.

Clearing his throat, he folded his arms across his chest before he cleared his throat to grab their attention.

“Excuse me.” He said in slightly high voice.

All five of the boys stopped chatting to each other before they all turned to look at him at the same time. Each of them were taking their time to analyse the boy they hadn’t seen before – and Tao was very quickly getting rather annoyed at the fact they weren’t even speaking yet.

“Excuse me.” Tao repeated himself, making sure that his tone revealed how annoyed he was. “Can you move out of the way?” he asked, trying to sound a little kind.

Not that he should be kind to these boys who were still just staring.

Then he saw the tall blonde one began to grin like a ert at him, his eyes travelling down his body. Tao watched as a pink tongue darted through the blonde’s parted lips, wetting them slowly.

“Not seen you around before.” The blonde spoke, his voice deep and low. “I would’ve remembered.”

Rolling his eyes, Tao switched his weight to his right foot.

“Good for you, now get out of the way.” He said, just getting fed up.

“Why?” One of the other boys asked, this one’s hair was very weird – it was made up of the colours of the rainbow. It was rather spectacular and Tao would’ve said it looked good on the boy if he wasn’t very annoyed at each and every one of them. And the way he asked the question.

Zitao sighed and took off his glasses, glaring at them all very clearly this time as he put them away back into his bag.

“Because you’re in the way of my car.” The boy explained, pointing to the vehicle.

All five of them turned to look at the car again before grinning at him. And then the blonde spoke again.

“Nice car.” He complimented.

Zitao groaned and shook his head a little. This was too much for a single lunch. Smiling sarcastically at them all, he walked forward and pushed past the blonde immediately, getting to the driver’s door he unlocked it and threw his bag into the backseat. As he was about to move, he was once again interrupted.

“Can I have a ride?” The blonde was the one that spoke.

Zitao chuckled and shook his head.

“Hell no.” Moving in, he shut the door beside him and put his seatbelt over his body protectively. As he pushed his car key in the ignition, there was tapping on his window and he realised that all five of them were beside the window.

Taking a deep breath, he swore to God that he was going to start knocking people out.

Rolling down the window, he stared up at the taller and spoke.

“What is it that you want?” he asked, and the blonde chuckled.

“My name is Kris, by the way.” Kris said, putting out his hand and placing it on the car door. “What’s yours?” He flashed a killer smile, and Zitao had to admit that he felt a shiver run through his body.

Shaking his head, he stared at Kris before sighing.

“If I tell you, would you and your thugs leave me alone?” The boy wondered, gaining a laugh from the other four.

Kris chuckled and pouted.

“Thugs? I’m hurt.” He placed a hand over his chest and pretended to weep. “But generally yes, they will leave you alone.”

“It’s Tao. Now go away.” Rolling up the window, he pushed his foot on the accelerate and sped off.

Kris chuckled and turned to his friends.

“Well, they do say opposites attract right?”

Two weeks later, Tao was soon going to rip out his hair and pack his belongings. The boy was getting so damn frustrated, all because of one tall blonde boy called Wu Yifan, also known as Kris.

At the moment, he was currently sitting outside on a bench in the car park, slowly eating some sweets.

It was almost a peaceful moment.

Until.

“Taozi!”

Tao groaned and placed his hand on his forehead. It was, of course, way too good to be true to have one moment of peace. Kris was instantly sitting beside him – his four lackeys following behind of course. The rainbow coloured hair one was Sehun, the tanned one was Kai, there was a tall boy called Chanyeol and the last member was another brunette named Chen.

The blonde placed an arm over the rich boy’s shoulders and pushed their bodies closed, grinning. Moving his lips towards Zitao’s ear, he softly whispered seductively his next sentence.

“Are you ignoring me?” he asked.

Zitao sighed as the shivers ran through his body again, but he closed his eyes and tried to ignore it. Pushing the other away with his shoulder, he sighed.

“Why do you persist in talking to me?” the boy wondered. There had to be a reason.

“Because you’re the most attractive person I’ve ever seen.” Kris replied. But the younger rolled his eyes and connected gazes with the other.

“Are you serious?”

Kris chuckled.

“Yup! And my friends….” The blonde’s eyes flickered over to Kai who chuckled and winked at the other. “They’ve been nagging me about getting a partner.”

The rich boy scoffed and chuckled. Glancing over at the other four boys who were giggling between themselves, he stared at Kris and looked him up and down.

“Me and you?” he said, asking a rhetorical question.

But Yifan nodded anyway.

“Together?” Tao said.

Another nod from the blonde with a sickening smile.

“In a relationship?” Another question.

Yifan sighed and he nodded once again. Staring at Zitao, he waited for probably another question the other was going to ask.

“…Me…” Looking at himself, Tao chuckled. “And… you.” Looking at Kris, he chuckled.

That’s when Kris frowned. That’s when he finally realised that the boy beside him was actually making fun of him for even suggesting that they would ever be in a relationship together. Sighing, he turned to Tao and pouted.

“That’s disappointing.”

Zitao shrugged his shoulders and stood up, sorting his jeans. Kris stared at the boy and his beautiful lean long legs. Standing up, he moved behind him and placed his large hands on his hips and pulled him backwards a little. The younger sighed as he felt the other’s body pressed up against his own back.

The boy could feel Yifan’s breath on the back of his neck.

“Kris, go away.” Zitao murmured.

“Just come with me on one date.” Yifan pleaded, his thumbs rubbing Tao’s soft pale skin on his waist. Moving forward, he placed his chin on the boy’s shoulder and stared up at the boy’s face.

Tao sighed and looked down at Kris’s gleaming face.

And everyone could tell what the other’s next answer was going to be. The sigh made him very obvious.

“Fine.”

“You’re late.” Zitao leaned against the doorway, folding his arms across his chest as he stared at the blonde in front of him who wore a large grin on his lips. Kris chuckled and shrugged his shoulders before he explained why he was fifteen minutes late.

“I had to get something before I left.” He said, and Tao sighed.

This date was already beginning to be a drag. Sighing, he let his hands drop down to his side as he stared at the blonde.

“And what was that?”

“This.” Kris brought his hand from his back and handed a box over to the boy.

“What is it?” The boy asked, staring at the red box. Kris rolled his eyes and motioned for him to open it instead of asking such a question. Zitao took a slightly annoyed breath and he opened the box, staring at the object inside of it.

Taking it out, he looked at the older confusedly. Inside, it was just simply… odd.

It was simply, from as far as Zitao could see, a piece of white chocolate.

“Um Kris…” he started, and the other smiled.

“Yes?”

“This is just a piece of chocolate.” He said. Kris nodded. “Why is it in a box?”

The blonde chuckled.

“To make it seem more special. I’m not one for giving presents.” He explained, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets as he stared at Tao. “And I know for a fact, white chocolate is your favourite.” The boy was now intensely smiling at the simple white chocolate in the box and he began to giggle a little. “What’s funny?” The blonde asked, tilting his head a little.

Zitao looked up at him and shook his head. Shutting the box again, he shut his front door behind him and moved down the first couple of steps.

“That was… the cheesiest thing I’ve ever seen.” He explained, and Yifan pouted once again. Then Tao sighed before speaking in a low voice. “But… very sweet.”

The older looked at him in surprise.

His mouth was agape, and he looked utterly surprise. Tao spoke again.

“…What?” he wondered. Kris shrugged.

“I just… didn’t think you’d ever compliment me on anything I done.” Moving to the side, he showed Tao to his own car, chuckling at the fact that Zitao wasn’t even replying to his comment.

When they got to Kris’s car, the younger smiled.

“Nice car.” Complimenting the black jeep, he turned to Kris and shot him another soft smile.

It seemed he was going to be doing that a lot this night – which was weird for him.

“Thank you!” Kris exclaimed before they set off for the next part in their date – this was one date Yifan was going to make sure that Zitao was never going to forget in his entire life.

The car ride wasn’t that long, but it gave Tao to ask Yifan a couple of questions that he had wondered about for the last two weeks.

“Kris?”

The blonde kept his eyes on the road, but he smiled a little at the boy to show that he was listening.

“Do you like having a ‘dangerous’ image?” he wondered.

“Eh? Me? Dangerous?” The driver said, and Zitao nodded. He remembered back to when he first saw Yifan – he certainly thought he was a part of a gang.

Kris chuckled and shook his head.

“I’m not dangerous. Do you like having a ‘I’m fabulous and better than you’ image?” he shot back, and the younger rolled his eyes as those words slipped out of the driver’s mouth.

Zitao sighed.

“I don’t act like that. But I am fabulous.” Zitao whispered the last part of the sentence, but Kris caught it.

“Vain.” Yifan mumbled.

Five minutes passed and Kris parked the car in a car parking lot. Tao looked around as he stepped outside of the car, and he recognised the type of place where the older had pulled up at. It was a swing park – and it was completely deserted. Turning to the other, he tilted his head a little at the boy who was locking the car and fixing his own jacket before he finally looked back at Tao.

“What?” he wondered, and the other shook his head.

“Nothing…” Zitao whispered.

The next half an hour consisted of Zitao and Kris having a swinging competition – which Zitao made pretty clear that he was going to win every single time.

Kris had to admit the other was pretty damn good.

Now, they were swinging calmly side by side. Zitao was staring at his feet, whilst Kris was staring at him.

Looking up, he grinned before he spoke softly.

“Hey, Tao, look up.”

The younger turned to the other first before he tilted his head in confusion. And then he finally did was he was told, and his eyes hit the dark sky before he noticed exactly what was rather prominent in the night darkness.

It was the moon. So bright, so huge, so endearing.

And Zitao couldn’t keep the smile off of his face as he stared up at the beautiful satellite. It was one thing he loved doing to calm himself down.

Moon gazing. Most people star gazed, but not him.

Glancing over at the boy who took him here, he couldn’t help but feel another shiver roll up his body. And this time, Yifan wasn’t even close to him. The blonde was having a great impact on him, even though it had only been two weeks.

Kris chuckled before he pulled his back up and dug his hand into its contents. Pulling something out, he whispered the other’s name to grab his attention.

“Taozi.”

The said boy instantly looked over at him with a calm smile. His eyes were beautiful in the moonlight. Kris almost let that comment slip.

“Here.” The blonde handed over a small gift bag, making Zitao’s eyes widened in the presence of yet another gift. It seemed to Tao that he had clearly underestimated the older boy – way too much.

Taking it and opening it, he softly gasped.

It was silent, but meaningful. Pulling the skull covered scarf, he let the fabric run through his fingers.

Looking up at the blonde, he didn’t say a word as he watched Kris stand up.

Yifan walked over to Tao on the swing and leaned down quietly. There was no words spoken between them. Their breaths comingled as Yifan moved closer; before he tilted his head a little to press his lips against the younger’s brilliantly soft ones.

The sparks between them were crazy. Tao immediately swung an arm around Kris’s neck whilst holding the scarf in his other.

Moving their lips softly, Kris softly ran his fingers through Zitao’s hair.

And then they separated softly.

“Woah…” Zitao whispered softly, kneading the fabric nervously between his fingers. Kris chuckled and the other’s hair before he smiled. Pecking him once again, he turned and faced the opposite direction, moving towards the place where his car was parked.

The younger smiled and didn’t question the fact the other was now taking him home.

But he didn’t mind.

It was rather a perfect end.

After a silent but very comfortable car ride back to Zitao’s rather large and very expensive looking house, both of them were now outside his door. Both waiting for the other to talk first.

It was Zitao who took the courage to speak.

But just as he was about to, something ran through his brain. The events of the evening seemed rather… peculiar.

“Kris…” the boy spoke.

“Yeah?” Yifan replied, smiling as if he was extremely proud of himself.

“How did you know about the white chocolate?” Zitao wondered, and as Kris was about to answer, he spoke again. “And about how my favourite place was the park?” Not letting Kris talk, he continued. “Also the moon.” The blonde was about to speak, but Tao never let him. Putting up his hand, he glared at him. “How the hell did you know about my obsession with scarfs? And that I didn’t have a skull one?”

The older boy stared at the shorter and chuckled rather nervously. Shrugging his shoulders, he grinned.

“…Luck?”

Tao glared before he pushed the other slightly away.

“Tell me.”

Kris groaned before he let his head fall down to his chest. Well, he may as well come clean.

“Okay… Baekhyun.”

The other’s eyes widened.

“How the hell do you know Baekhyun?!” he screamed, and Yifan shrugged his shoulders. “Oh my god this is unbelievable.” Zitao pushed Kris again before he opened the door rather angrily. Stepping in – completely ignoring the fact that Yifan had managed to his before he got to safety – he screamed as he ran to the phone.

A certain ‘best friend’ was about to get phoned.

Kris chuckled as he was left outside the door on the porch. But he couldn’t help but keep the smile on his lips as he thought about this night.

So damn cheesy, it was horrible.

If any of his friends saw that, they would never leave him alone. But he was glad Tao’s friend was able to help him. Luckily, Kai knew Baekhyun. Kai, however, did not know about any of the romantic stuff he had done, thank god!

Looking at his hand that had just d Zitao’s , he grinned, giggling instantly as he thought about how Tao just ignored it.

“He loves me.”

Fin.
