I hesitantly take a knife and dagger it to my chest.

I wake up from my dream.

I look to my side to see Ljoe sleeping beside the bed.

 

OMO! Where am I??

 

I move slowly down the bed but accidently kick a bottle.

 

I hear some strange sound so I wake up.

 

"Oh, you're awake now? What happen to you just awhile ago?"

 

"Ahhhh... I felt dizzy a bit because I did not have breakfast this morning. That's it. Don't worry about me."

 

" Gurae? Then lets eat together. I haven't eaten yet."

 

I hold her hand and walk to the canteen. 

 

I look at my hand intertwine with Ljoe's.

We reach the canteen.

 

"Wait here. I'll go buy for you food. What do you like?"

 

"I like bibimbap."

 

"Bibimbap? Same. Its my favourite too."

 

I smile delightfully to Suzy.

 

She has something similar to me.

 

That made me happy.

 

Really? He likes bibimbap too?

 

We have things in common now.

"Ljoe!! Isn't now History period? Shouldn't we go to class? Wouldn't the teach-"

 

Ljoe cut my words by feeding me bibimbap.

 

"Eat this and stop asking so much questions.. I told the teacher that I'll be taking care of you since you fainted."

 

"Ahhh..ne. Ljoe, gomawo. I feel so indebted to you. What would you like me to do for you?"

 

"Well, there's so many things that I want but..."

I look at Suzy intensely.

 

I continue to eat my bibimbap.

I smile to Ljoe cheerfully.

 

I would do almost anything for you and Chunji.

I feel my heart beats so fast when Ljoe look at me.

Ljoe and I go back to our class together.

 

I see Suzy walk with Ljoe.

"What happen to you, Suzy? I was worried something happen to you."

 

"Anniyo. I feel better now. Miahae for making you worry."

 

I bow to Chunji with an unpleasant face.

 

I don't want to make Chunji worry about me.. just like what Ljoe did.

 

"Gwenchana. I should be worried. You're my friend. I care for you."

 

I hug Suzy lightly.

 

I am surprise. Chunji hugs me without warning.

 

It made my heart beats so fast.

I release from the hug and look at Suzy.

I stand up and walk out of the class.

 

I want to say thank you to Ljoe but Bora calls him so I feel uneasy.

 

I notice Suzy looking at Ljoe.

I look at Chunji and chuckle.

 

"Anniyo. What would I be thinking about?"

 

I lean my head to Chunji's shoulder.

 

"Can we stay like this for a moment?"

 

"Of course. Is something bothering you?"

 

"Nothing."

 

I want to tell Chunji how much I feel bothered when Bora calls Ljoe. But nothing comes out from my mouth.

 

Suzy, I feel happy that I can help you although I don't know what's bothering you.

 

Nevertheless, you are my joy.

 

I just have to be with you to be happy.

 

Outside the classroom...

 

"What do you want to say to me?"

 

"Ljoe. I have to tell you this. So trust me on this."

Ljoe pays more attention at the mentioning of Suzy's name.

I nod innocently.
