So sleepy.

What time is it?

I look at my clock.

OMG!!!!! Its already 7.50am.

 

Today is my first day after winter's long break.

I get up from my bed and rush to the toilet.

I take a quick bath and dry my hair with my towel.

I search for my clothes in the closet but there is only one that is suitable.

Its a simple white  t-shirt along with ordinary-looking blouse and a short blue jeans.

 

I took my bag and go downstair.

I drink some milk and off I go to school.

I walk to school hurriedly.

I didn't realise I am running.

Suddenly, I see the gate of my school is closing.

 

Haizz, why did the gate close. Now I have to climb over this fence.

 

Suzy : No! No! Stop! Don't close it! Urghh!

 

Too late. Its closed.

Great. What do I do?

I see a guy comes late too and he is climbing over the fence.

Maybe I should do that?

I have no choice anyway.

I run towards the fence and climb over it.

As I jump down I feel something below me.

OMG!! Is it a guy?

 

Why is this girl on me? Did she just climb the fence? For a girl. thats just impressive.

 

I quickly move away from the person.

And I am right.

I look at the person and want to stand up when he give my his hand.

I take it and stand up. I dusted off the dirt on my shorts.

 

I stand up and waited for her to say something but nothing come out from . She is about to walk away.

 

He said something that stopped me somehow.

 

Wow, she really think she can just walk away like that. Never. No one walk away when they bump into me.

 

Ljoe : Aren't you going to apologise or at least say thank you because I helped you?!

 

I turned around to look a him.

 

Suzy : Mianhae. And.. gomawo.

 

I bow to him before leaving him.

 

I'll let it slide since she apologise to me. She seems sincere. I wonder what is her name.

 

And I walk away. I look at my watch and see its 8.10 already.

I run to my class which is on the third floor.

Phewwwh. So tiring!

At last, I reach my class.

I see my team members waiting for me.

 

Suzy : Hi girls! I miss you all so much.

 

Miss A girls: Same here.

 

Jia : Why are you late anyway?

 

Min : We better get into class now.

 

Suzy : Mianhae. Its a long story. Lets go.

 

I enter the class and see a familiar group of girls.

 

Suzy : Girls, aren't they someone we know?

 

I hear someone mentioning about us, so I stand up. I knew it.

It was none other than the girl I despise most, Suzy.

 

I see that one girl stand up. She is the leader afterall. 

She walked towards me and look right in my eyes.

 

Bora : Bae Suzy. What are you doing here??

 

Suzy : Shin Bora. I am from this class.

 

We had like a staring competition when the teacher come in the class.

 

Bora : I'll talk to you later.

 

Suzy. You think you can do as you please. Wait till we meet again.

 

Suzy : As if I want to.

 

Bora. I don't know why you want to meet me again. I dislike talking to you.

 

Mr Jang : Alright students. Settle down now. We have two new students that will be joining us. Come in please.

 

I see a two figures entering the class.

One of them is really cute. I wonder what his name is.

The other one is...wait a second.

Isn't he the one I bump into just now??!

 

I enter the class and a girl got my attention.

Its her.

The girl I bump into a while ago.

I'm in the same class as her?

I'll get to know her better then.

Unknowingly, I smile to myself.

 

I walk in the class as see this two girls.

They look like they are not in good terms.

I look at the one wearing white t-shirt and blue shorts.

She looks nice though.

Maybe I should get to know her.

I kept my eyes locked to her when introducing myself.

 

Chunji : Annyeonghaeseyo. My name is Lee Chanhee, but please call me Chunji. 

 

I saw her looking at me. What am I feeling? I feel like so excited just because she looks at me. Did I fall for her at first sight?

 

Now is that guy's turn. I want to know his name.

 

Ljoe : Annyeong. I'm Lee Byunghun. Call me Ljoe.

 

So, his name is Ljoe? Cool name though.

 

Mr Jang : Okey. Ljoe, you may take a seat next to Suzy. Suzy, please raise your hand.

 

Oh crap! Why me of all the people here?? I raise my hand anyways.

 

Oh, I'm sitting next to her. Her name is Suzy, right. Cute name. Awesome. We can be friends. I walk towards her direction and sit beside her on her right.

 

Mr Jang : Chunji, you may sit beside Suzy too. On her left.

 

I walk slowly to sit beside Suzy.

 

Mr Jang : Class. Stand up. I want to take your attendance.

 

While the teacher takes our attendance. I glance over to Ljoe and Chunji. I wonder who should I greet first.

 

Suzy : Hi! My name is Suzy. And you are Ljoe and Chunji right?

 

Ljoe an Chunji look at me and they said the same thing.

 

Ljoe and Chunji : Ne. Nice to meet you.

 

Suzy : Ljoe, I'm really sorry about just now. At the fence.

 

Ljoe : Its nothing really. I had forgotten about it.

 

Suzy : I see. Thanks.

 

Ljoe : Sure. No biggie.

 

I didn't realise my name is being called.

 

Mr Jang : Bae Suzy? Are you here?

 

Chunji : Suzy, Mr Jang is calling you name.

 

Suzy : Oh, gurae? Seongsamnim, I'm here.

 

My eyes are still locked to hers.

 

I raised my hand energeticly.

I thank Chunji.

 

Suzy : Gomawo, Chunji. Lucky me to have you as my friend.

 

Chunji : No problem.

 

Chunji smile to me. I smile back.

 

I look at them. They are smiling to each other. Am I jealous of them? Wait, do I like Suzy?

 

She has a pretty name and a pretty smile too. I think I like you Suzy.

 

I look over at Suzy.

She looks like she's having lots of fun.

Does she think she can flirt with both guys on the first day of school??!

No way I'm giving up to HER-R-R!!!

I will definitely stand up and make your life miserable.

Just you wait, Bae Suzy.

 

Teacher : Class dismiss. Tomorrow I'll start giving you homework. So, be prepared.

 

Gomawo seongsamnim. You are awesome! I throw my fist in the air.

Ljoe look at me weirdly.

 

Ljoe : Are you okey?

 

Suzy : Perfectly fine. Just glad there's no homework.

 

Chunji : Suzy, can I join you for recess? I have no one else to talk so...

 

I cut him off.

 

Suzy : Sure. Why not? Join me.

 

Chunji : But, is it really okey with them?

 

He pointed towards Miss A.

 

Suzy : You can join me and Miss A for recess. We're from different class but when you get to know them, they nice people. 

 

You are kind at heart. No wonder if I fall for you.

 

Ljoe stand up and is about to walk out of class when I call him.

 

Suzy : Ljoe. Come and join us too.

 

Ljoe : No thanks. I don't feel like it.

 

I walk away and went to the fourth floor where it is a rooftop.

I don't know why I feel this way.

I could have just join them. No harm anyway.

 

Chunji and Miss A girls : Suzy, lets go to the cafeteria.

 

Suzy : Gurae. Kaja.

 

I buy some bread. It is very long so I decided to share it with someone.

 

Suzy : Chunji, want some?

 

Chunji : Gwenchana. You have to eat a lot.

 

Suzy : What about you girls? Want some?

 

Miss A girls : We have too much to eat already. Sorry.

 

I want to check on Ljoe to see what he's doing.

 

I ask my classmates about his wherebouts.

 

They say he went to the rooftop.

 

I go to the rooftop and slowly open the door.

 

The wind is so swift. The scenery is breathtaking too. I  am so absorbed in it until I hear the door push open.

I turned around to see who it is. 

 

Ljoe : .........................

 

Its her. What should I say? Should I remain silent? 

 

I take a seat beside him.

 

Suzy : Here, have some. I can't finish it alone. Its too long.

 

Ljoe glance at me and finally speak to me.

 

Ljoe : Its really okey. I am not hungry.

 

Suzy : Just taste a bit will do. Here, let me put it in your mouth say  "AAHhhhh"...

 

Ljoe : Anni... I'm okey..

 

I felt there's no choice so I kick his leg. At last, he open his mouth. I put the bread in his mouth.

 

Ljoe : AHHHHHhhh!!!  what was that for?

 

Suzy : Its the only way you will eat the bread. Now, chew it. Its delicious isn't it?

 

I have to admit. It is delicious. 

But I really want to .

 

Ljoe : Anniyo. Why is it so tasteless??

 

Suzy : Mwoh-h-h?!

 

Ljoe : Just kidding. Its awesome.

 

Suzy flashes a smile to me.

For the first time.

I smile back at her.

I feel my heart is somewhat uncomfortable.

Do I like you, Suzy? 

I shook my head hard.

I didn't realise I stand up from my seat.

 

Suzy : Why are you standing?

 

Ljoe : Errrr...because...........
