“It’s very nice to see you again, Leo. Care to invite me in?”

Leo was more than shock seeing the person who had never left his mind after the incident at the bar last week. He was stunned and bewildered as tons of questions ran inside his head while his eyes fixated at the person who took his wallet.

It was impossible. How did this guy find him? Should he call Luhan for help?

“Yoo-hoo? Earth to Leo?”

Leo snapped out and blinks at the guy in front of him. And, snapping out means he has to do what he has to do when he finds this thief.

He harshly pulled the thief’s arm and dragged him inside just like he did back in the bathroom when he felt someone was following him behind.

This time, Leo forced the guy to sit on his white couch.

“What are you doing here? What do you want from me, this time?”

Ken was absolutely taken aback but he actually anticipated this kind of treatment coming from the star player though, he was surprised that Leo didn’t punch him first before questioning him.

“I’m not going to steal something from you, if that’s what you mean.” Ken humbly replied which the soccer player obviously didn’t buy. Why would he when he was already robbed by none other than Ken, himself.

“Stop acting. I’m not going to fall for your tricks again. I better call a real policeman to—“

“Wait a second!” Ken abruptly stand up and grab both Leo’s hand together.

“You can’t do that—“ Ken panicked.

“Why can’t I? If you haven’t forgotten, you had robbed me last week.” Leo said, grimly.

Ken’s lips twitch but he came to Leo’s house in peace. The latter should know that he didn’t bring any tricks in his pockets today.

“I came in peace, okay? Just calm down—“

“I am calm.” Leo rebutted but Ken can totally see he wasn’t and just the way his hands started to shake, he knew Leo was nervous.

“Just sit down—“

“Don’t use that tone on me, once again.” Leo cuts him off when Ken was just trying to ease him out a little bit with a very calm tone and let him sit on his own couch.

“What tone?” Ken couldn’t help but smirked once he and Leo change positions; he was finally sitting down and Ken was the one standing up.

“That tone,” Leo’s face darkened as he looks at Ken with narrowed eyes.

Ken didn’t know what he was talking about but he’s just talking normally to him, like he’s not even using his cute, sultry and flirty voice yet.

“I’m not doing anything. I’m talking normally, Leo.” Ken winked and Leo scoffed at him like he was bluffing.

“I don’t believe you and I’m not going to believe you, ever.” Leo stated which made Ken’s chest tighten and it was a pain to have a not-so-very-good first impression on him.

“That hurts, Leo.” Ken replied, pouting sadly. Leo rolled his eyes and looked away.

Ken then heave a sigh and took a sit on top of the coffee table, across Leo.

“Hi! My name is Lee Jaehwan and I’m twenty-two. Nice to meet you!”

Ken introduced himself by saying his real name and handing out his hand in front of Leo who turns to face him bewilderedly.

It wasn’t his intention to spill out his real name to the star player but it was his last resort to somewhat make the latter feel his real intention and that is to know each other more aside from Leo categorizing him as a thief which was a sad true.

“W-what are you doing?” Leo’s eyebrows kissed as he looked at Ken’s hand in the air astonishingly and then back to meet his eyes.

Ken pulled out a smile and winks and then, shakes his hand in the air.

“What do you think I am doing? C’mon, shake my hand—“

“No.” Leo abruptly cuts him off.

“Why?” Ken asked and he just couldn’t give up because he had to stab their leader behind his back and sabotage his own work by being in here. There is so much at stake and if his leader knows what he was doing right now, he might get killed.

But, Leo is worth choosing for.

He never intended to steal for a living but he was poor, jobless and homeless and Hyukjae took care of him as well as Kyungsoo. Ken knew that he was truly grateful to their leader but, he thinks that Hyukjae is finally at his edge and Ken thinks that this work they’ve been doing for a whole year now is enough for something called: revenge.

“Cat got your tongue, sweetie?” Ken asks when Leo didn’t open his mouth to answer.

“Don’t call me that.” Leo’s face dimmed and Ken almost wants to pinch Leo’s cheeks for being so adorable.

“Why not? Oh, you don’t like sweets then?” Ken teased and he can see Leo was pissed.

“I’m sorry.” Ken immediately apologized. “I was introducing myself and then all of a sudden, you don’t like sweets and my hand is still here, hanging in the air—“

“Put it down if you’re tired.” Leo said which made Ken smiled.

“Not until you shake my hand.” He insisted and they both stare, weighing their stro
