Chapter 1
Get Well SoonMBLAQ was performing on an open stage, and despite the gloomy weather, the place was crowded with thousands of fans. Though the mood had soared right up when we got onto the stage, the sky didn't look any brighter, and it even started drizzling.
By the end of the third song, it had started pouring, and there were no signs of stopping. But the fans were well prepared for anything that might have come up during the performance, and they'd brought along all sorts of raingear. They simply put on raincoats, shared umbrellas, huddled further into their coats, and cheered even louder.
They were 3/4 into the performance, and while changing their outfits for the next song, their manager pulled them over.
"It's cold, windy, and rainy. At this rate, some of you guys could get sick. We can cancel the performance or promise another one. I'm sure the fans will unders-"
"But our fans have been waiting in line for a few days and we don't want to disappoint them. Plus, we're nearly done! Please let us continue!"
Seungho tried to reason with the manager, and all the other MBLAQ members looked at him pleadingly. The manager sighed and gave in.
"Ok, fine. But take care of yourselves."
"YES! THANK YOU HYUNG!" Joon shouted, and threw himself at the manager. Seungho chuckled, and GO went to pull him off. Mir did a little victory dance and smiled at Thunder, who gave a weak but convincing smile in return. Mir ran off to change into his next outfit, and GO followed soon after, dragging a very happy Joon with him.
Thunder suddenly felt dizzy, and the whole world seemed to be moving. He felt a strong arm wrap around his shoulders, and he grabbed onto whoever it was thankfully. He breathed deeply and blinked, focusing his eyes before looking up at the person. It was Seungho, with an extremely worried face on.
"Yah, are you okay? Are you sick? Do you need to rest?"
Thunder shook his head and tried to slip out of his hold. He didn't want them to cancel the performance because of him. He didn't want them to know he wasn't feeling well.
"Ne, I'm fine."
"Really? If you're sick, you shouldn't go back into the rain!"
"Hyung! I'm fine! Really!" Thunder walked off quickly, before he broke out the truth.
Within a few minutes, all of MBLAQ was changed and touches of makeup had been adjusted on their faces. With a "HWAITING!", they went back on stage. They were drenched even before half the song was over, and the leader kept glancing at his dongsaeng.
With every dance step, Thunder's head pounded and while he should've been sweating and slightly warmer from the exercise, he was getting colder and colder. His teeth were chattering and he struggled to keep his voice even when it was his turn to rap.
Thankfully, the performance ended, for Thunder was now visibly swaying. He felt horrible, and Seungho rushed over to him. Thunder was pale, and was radiating off a lot of heat.
"Thunder! I TOLD you to stop if you were sick!"
All Thunder could do was give his leader a small smile which quickly faded away as his headache intensified. Their manager came over along with the other members, and was halfway through congratulating their professionalism in the circumstances when he noticed Thunder.
Quickly, he felt his forehead with his hand before retreating from the heat. He sighed, and quickly called over their stylists for plenty of warm, thick, and most importantly, dry clothes. The rest of the members crowded around Thunder, worrying over their dongsaeng. He shivered under the unwanted coldness from their hands, and when they were given a fresh change of clothes, all he could do was sloppily wipe himself down and dress himself so that it wouldn't look like he was hung-over.
He fumbled for a while with his jacket buttons, before someone gently removed his shaking hands and replaced them with their own. GO, the mother of the group, swiftly buttoned up the jacket, not wanting his dear son to get any sicker. Seeing how Thunder was still struggling to get all the cold out of him, GO took off his own jacket and wrapped it around the other's shoulders.
Worried that his hyung would get sick as well, Thunder tried to take the jacket off and put it back on its owner, but GO refused and only wrapped it around the younger even tighter. He stood there and wondered to himself whether Thunder was strong enough to walk to the van or whether he should carry him. He chose the safer option, and put an arm on Thunder's back whilst bending down to gather his legs.
At first, Thunder protested, not wanting to bother his hyung so much, but when the whole world suddenly did a sickening dance, he thought differently. He relaxed his aching body in the strong arms and leaned his head against his hyung's chest, listening to the steady beating of the heart.
