Ji Eun opened the door to the meeting room to hear this:

"I can't believe how hot they are!"

"Taecyeon gives me dreams... Soo Hyun gives me fevers!"

"Oh, I can't decide which one is better. Hey, Eun Jung. Did you look ahead in the script? Which one do I end up with? Do you think I can have both?"

"Suzy! How can you say that when I end up alone?"

"You did look ahead! Which one? Which one?"

Ji Eun wondered if she'd entered the wrong room. There was no one but two girls; one with soft brown curls and chinadoll bangs, and one with two black plaits. "E-excuse me..."

Both girls whirled around to stare, wide-eyed.

Ji Eun looked down. "S-sorry, it seems I've gotten the wrong ro—"

"Thank goodness!" The brown haired girl thumped a fist against her chest. "For a moment, I thought a boy had come in. That would've been so embarrassing!"

"Not that you look like a boy or anything. You're very, very pretty." The black-haired girl smiled at Ji Eun. "Nice to meet you! I'm Eun Jung Ham. I play Baek Hee. And this is Suzy. She plays Hye Mi. She's um... kind of insane."

Suzy out a hand. "You're Ji Eun, right? Playing Pil Suk?"

Ji Eun stared at it. "Um... how did you know?"

"You positively reek of Pil Suk-ness," Suzy said.

"You're very adorable," Eun Jung agreed. 

"Th-thank you?" Ji Eun replied uncertainly.

The door swung open; in stepped Woo Young, dressed in a stylish black leather jacket and dark stonewashed jeans. Eun Jung and Suzy seemed to be drooling.

"Yo," he said, smiling at Ji Eun.

"Omo!" Suzy moaned. "Now there's three! I don't know which one to choose!"

"Suzy, I think he ends up with Pil Suk," Eun Jung whispers.

"They have a special friendship, but it's not really a relationship," Suzy protested. "Besides... you can't deny how fine he looks."

Woo Young shifted awkwardly, giving them both a look that said Uh-I-don't-know-if-you're-blind-but-I'm-kind-of-right-here-and-I-can-here-you-from-where-I'm-standing.

Ji Eun took pity on him. "Woo Young-sshi... I heard the director was looking for you in his office. You might want to head there... You know, you wouldn't want to keep him waiting."

"Oh. Yes. I should definitely go." Woo Young bowed slightly. "Sorry. I don't want to aggravate the director on my first day." And he left, probably a little more quickly than he had to.

Suzy giggled. "He is so adorable."

Eun Jung frowned. "You don't need to be crushing on a third man. You've already got Soo Hyun and Taecyeon!"

"But how can you not love that guy?" Suzy sighed. "Ji Eun, you're so lucky. It's obvious who you'll end up with. Suzy Unni here has a predicament. She has two guys to choose from, and both of them are hot! And nice. But mainly hot."

Eun Jung rolled her eyes. "You're always looking at the outward appearance, Suzy."

"Says the girl who was all like, 'Taecyeon gives me dreams... Soo Hyun gives me fevers!'"

"Ya!"

"But I digress." Suzy whirled on Ji Eun. "By the way, I've heard some rumors. One being, you're living with Woo Young. Another being, he bought you jewelry."

Ji Eun's cheeks flared. "L-l-living with Woo Young-sshi?!" she exclaimed.

Eun Jung nodded.

"So. Ji Eun." Suzy leaned over. "You and Woo Young seem pretty close."

"Yeah," Eun Jung said. "Real close."

Ji Eun blinked. "What?"

"I'll cut to the chase, girl." Suzy slapped a hand on the meeting table. "Do you like him?"

Ji Eun stared blankly at her. "Like?"

Eun Jung smiled. "Yes. As in, physically attracted to. Crushing on. Like him."

"Oh," Ji Eun said. "Uh... uh, this is supposed to be a full cast and crew meeting, right? Where's everyone else? The script writer? The director? Assistant director? Director of photography? Recording artist? Casting director?"

"O-ho, this girl's done her research," Suzy said appraisingly. "You seem to know quite a bit about the positions."

"I researched," Ji Eun confessed. "I was nervous. But... where are they?"

Eun Jung sat down in the nearest chair. "They're all gone."

"What?"

"All gone," Eun Jung said. "They're all caught up in traffic. I hear there was a big accident on the highway." She smiled. "That means we've got a little time for girl bonding! You haven't answered the question, Ji Eun."

"O-oh. Is it okay if I don't?" Ji Eun asked uneasily.

"Yes," Suzy said.

Thankfully, Eun Jung's phone saved Ji Eun. She never thought that she would owe so much to a ringtone.

"Hello?" Eun Jung said. "Oh! Min-ah. Is something wrong? ...WHAT?! ...Are you sure, Min-ah? Yes... yes... I'll be there in a minute. Shin's there too, right? Hold tight. Don't move an inch." She jammed the phone into her bag and leapt to her feet. "I've really got to go, you two. There's a family crisis." She kept her tone light, but her face was white and strained.

"But the meeting—" Ji Eun began.

"Go," Suzy interrupted. "Go, now. I'll explain."

Eun Jung nodded gratefully and tore out of the room.

Ji Eun sighed. "What are we going to tell the director?"

Suzy looked at Ji Eun thoughtfully. "One thing you have to learn about Eun Jung," she said. "Eun Jung is rarely worried about anything. If she has a reason to panic, the director has a reason to panic." Her face lit up in a fond smile. "Unless, of course, it has anything to do with teenage boys. Then she panics all the time."

Ji Eun laughed.

"I suppose we should go outside to wait for everyone," Suzy sighed. "Even though it's cold..."

"We probably should, huh?"

"You know what would make it bearable?"

"What?"

Suzy grinned. "If you told the truth about Woo Young. Come outside, Ji Eun-ah, and let us contemplate the mysterious world of masculinity together!"
