She sat with her bestfriends at one of the school's gazebo. She glances up once in a while from her notebook to her busy talking BFFs, Bom, Minzy, and the closest to her, CL. Her long straight hair is let down with her head tilting to the side. She's got her head in the game, serious with her studying. Pen in hand, book on the other. She had wanted to be an achiever even for once. It's her last year in Prime Seoul High School. She wants to make the most of her senior year. Though she feels inferior, she's surrounded by the most encouraging friends she could ever wish for. Her introverted personality has kept her locked in that circle and never mingling with others. She has no mind in gossiping, no care for rumors. She has always played by the rules. But every young girl has a weakness. A crush. She had a lot of them althroughout her school life but she's given up. Her heart has suffered too much. She knows it has to stop. It always got in the way of her studying. She won't let it get to her head again.

"Can't you do that at home? Relax, it's free period." Minzy said to her.

"Yeah, Min is right! You're making it too hard on yourself dear. It's still the first week of school. Exams are not until two months." says Bom.

"We're all in different classes, now. This is the only time we're as one other than our lunch. So, please.... For us..." CL persuaded her.

She had no choice. She gave in easily. She put away all her things and joined their conversation.

"So the new student is in our class." CL announces.

"Is he okay there? Won't he feel awkward?" Bom asks.

"Isn't it awkward to have your own senior in our class now?" says Minzy.

She kept quiet the whole discussion, listening silently.

"If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't feel so good. It's embarassing to be behind of your old batchmates."

"I think I would go insane if I was the only one that didn't graduate and had to repeat school."

"I feel bad for him. He went through a lot since last year."

"I know. We asked about the accident and he was suprisingly open about it."

"That was the saddest and scariest thing I've ever heard."

"Nobody knows if he was serious about that. I mean it was a g-"

"SHHHHHHHH He's coming our way."

And he walked over to them. He stood there asking if he could take a seat.

"Oppa sunbae..." they said shyly.

"Anieyo~" he waved his hand dismissively. "No need to call me that. We're in the same class." he assured with his smooth deep voice.

She recognized him. By his face and his distinct pair of specs. He always had that rich smile, pale white skin, stringy black hair and deep dark eyes. They were in the same club during her freshman year. He moved to another club the following year. They weren't so close then. She remembers him but does he remember her?

"You know our names right?" one asked.

"Uhhmm." he stared at each of them but she looked down.

"You're Minzy, CL, Bom...." he guessed correctly another after another.

"And..........." he paused. "Sandara." she lifted her head.

"Nobody has called me that... They usually just call me Dara." she spoke up.

"Well, I like that name. You can call me Chanyeol. Nobody has called me that... They usually just call me Yeol." he said jokingly smiled at her.

He knows my name. She thought. Seniors don't remember her name often. She smiled meekly. Why now? I thought I'd stopped that. I cannot like him just because he recognized me. She convinced herself. I won't let him get to me.

"Dara, we're going to the canteen. You coming?" CL invited her.

"Nah, I'm staying here."

"Sunbae?"

"No, I'll stay here too." Chanyeol insisted.

They didn't say a word. Both had their own little worlds. Both eternally lost in thought.
