Timeless Love

Tao has the power of time control, but he's never really used it. One day he is saved by a stranger from being hit by a car. When the man dies, Tao uses his power to go back in time so he can prevent the accident from happening, but something goes wrong. He creates a loop where the same day repeats over and over and nothing he does changes the accident from happening. Slowly, he realizes he is falling in love with man and he struggles to find a way to save him, only to realize he might not be able to.

This will be a two shot.

Foreword

Dreams of knowing the future, of being able to direct events to one’s favor, are simply pleas of the heart trying to understand the misfortune of life. If I could do it over… If only I had known… A second chance… No matter how hard one tries, or how heavy the tears fall, what has been done shall remain. Living with the guilt and learning to move on, to cherish the good memories, is the most difficult lesson life has to teach. Love is strong, stronger even then death, but only if it is allowed to be free.

True love wants not for its own happiness, but for the joy of the one holding its heart. Even if that means letting go…
