Perfectly Imperfect
Description
When you stop chasing perfection, you give happiness a chance to catch you.
No matter how much she would study or how hard she would work or how much effort she would put in to a task as simple as cutting a piece of paper, it would all come out to the same results: nothing. Nobody ever cared about her, or her grades, her thoughts, her efforts. Nobody ever spared a single word of praise, even when she truly deserved it.
Because that was how ed up society was. Always picking out the flaws. Always pointing out the mistakes. Always looking on the bad side.
Or maybe it was just her own parents that were like that?

▷Disclaimer◁
▷I own no pictures, gifs, idols, lyrics, or quotes that may be used.
▷Credits◁
▷Graphics by iammyd2 at Hyoyeon Poster Shop.
▷Quotes as credited. If not credited, then they are my own.
▷Warnings◁
▷I update only once every 1–3 weeks on Fri. or Sat. with chapters of 4000–7000 words.
▷There is some adult language, and certain thoughts/actions [in the beginning] that might be triggering.
▷Please do not plagiarize, repost, copy, print, save, translate, steal, etc., or immediate action will be taken.
▷Notes◁
▷Although Under the Mask relates to many girls in terms of confidence and beauty, I feel like Perfectly Imperfect would relate more to everybody in general whose parents are strict on education like mine, or on sports, music, etc. I hope you’ll really be able to connect with this story and its characters the way I do.
▷I’m a total noob when it comes to angst. Please don’t expect really beautiful chapters that’ll touch your soul and make you bleed rainbows.
▷Dedications◁
▷For all the people who think they’re not good enough. For all the people who have been forgotten, over-shadowed, and looked down upon. For all the people who try so hard to impress others, that they lose themselves in the process.
