Description
High school life starts for Yoona and she knows that it's her time to finally do something. Changes. No longer feminine or cute, Yoona makes herself as unattractive as possible. She was an outcast in middle school because the girls were jealous of her popularity with boys. Determined to have friends in high school, she sacrifices her true, girly self for her classmates' approval. Although Yoona is strong-willed, stubborn, and passionate, she prefers to be accepted for who she isn't than ostracized for who she is.
To Yoona's surprise, she finds out that her first crush whom she hadn't seen since middle school, attends the same school. Eventually she falls in love with her first crush again. However, she constantly worries that he has no feelings for her and believes he only sees her as a past crush. After confessing and being rejected, she decides to move on.
“That's how it has ended?”
“No.”
“Huh?!”
“I haven't told you the whole truth.”

Since middle school, I have always believed that boys were too rough and violent. But Daehan was the only exception, and I wanted to know him better. We shared some brief memories – including a plan to go to the summer festival together. But I said something what I wasn't supposed to say. That's why... when the summer festival arrived, Daehan didn't show up.
Returning from the summer vacation, I heard from Daehan's friends that he transferred to another school without explanation. And... only then I realized how much I had liked Daehan and regretted not telling him how I felt.
Author's note: Hi, guys! So this is my first time writing a fan fiction and because I'm not some sort of a skilled writter and English isn't my native language, I decided that I’d start with something easier than with writing a whole story by myself. Yes, you’re right (or no?), Youth Ride is going to be remake of one of my favourite manga stories, Ao Haru Ride by Sasisako Io! The manga itself hasn't ended yet so even I don't know exactly the ending of Youth Ride xD
You are probably confused with the guy named „Daehan“, aren’t you? Well, I think you’re able to find out who it is :D
Also for the upcoming chapter, you can skip prologue (yes, the very first chapter is the prologue only) since the foreword has described it quite well. So you won’t miss too many things by skipping it. But I‘d appreciate if you did read the prologue though, because I put some effort into writing it.
