Kris slipped out of Alice room once she was asleep, he had to go make plans with Suho on locating and rescuing D.O and Alice 's grandfather. 'He likes her" Chanyeol's words echoed in Kris's mind he paused momentarily shaking his head. He wasn't going to admit it aloud how right he was, thoughts of Alice were constantly clouding his mind, maybe she felt the same way. After everything that had happened Kris highly doubted that she did.

 

Alice woke up a few minutes after Kris had left looking around she pushed herself out of the bed and took a few steps, twisting the door knob Alice decided to explore. 

 

Alice's feet padded across the wooden floors as she wandered mindlessly, definitely not what she expected vampires to live in the hall way was an earthy green colour with a rich brown carpet that felt soft under Alice's feet. 

 

"Your meant to be resting" Kris said, Alice whipped around so fast her ponytail nearly smacked him in the face. 

 

Kris had been panicking when he had returned to Alice's room and found her missing, what if she had ran off ?, was she that disgusted by him ?. It only took him a grand total of 7 minutes to find her in the opposite corridor. 

 

Alice had nearly leapt out of her skin when she heard Kris's voice come from behind her, he stood behind her slightly frowning. "I've rested long enough" she replied attempting to hide the fact that he nearly scared the bejesus out of her. Kris sighed,  Nodding "at least come back to your room just for now" he said, Alice huffed and crossed her arms across her chest but followed him nonetheless.

 

"So how old are you exactly" Alice asked sitting on the bed, Kris pretended to look offended "don't you know it's rude to as someone's age" he said. "I thought that only applied to ladies" she said smoothly, Kris chuckled "I'm 422 years old" he said. Alice's jaw dropped "woah" she muttered, "anything else you wanna ask" Kris said amused by her expression. "The whole can't go in sunlight is bull I'm assuming" Alice said, "we try to avoid sunlight for long periods of time, lucky for us it never gets to bright her in green groove it isn't always as sunny" he said, Alice nodded and became thoughtful. "Where do you get your blood from" she blurted out, Kris hesitated "Lay and D.O, gather it from hospitals and bring it back to us" he said, "stake through the heart?" She asked, "who wouldn't that kill" Kris said rolling his eyes. "Can you guys see your own reflections?" Alice said, "i wouldn't look half as good as I did, if I couldn't see myself" Kris said smirking, Alice laughed at this. "Hmmm what about the whole sleeping in coffins thing??" She asked, Kris shook his head "we prefer sleeping in beds, although we don't require too much sleep, it just makes us feel, feel human to do so" he said. Alice reached over and grasped his hand and offered him a small smile

 

"How did you become a vampire" Alice asked, Kris sighed "that's a long story" he said, "we've got time" she insisted. "Another time Alice I'm leaving with a few of the others tonight" he said, "where are you going?" She demanded. "To go search a potential spot where your grandfather might be" Kris said, Alice looked at her hands "and before you ask your not coming you'll stay here with Lay, Xiumin and Kai and the others that are staying, no arguments" Kris said firmly.  

 

AN/ sorry this chapters short and late, writers block hit me really hard for some odd reason, the next chapter will be longer and hopefully on time, till next time
