Prologue
When Chanyeol read 10080
Chanyeol shifted uncomfortably in his seat, trying not to let it show his back was killing him. He loved fan signings, but sitting on a wobbly plastic chair for two hours was brutal for his back after his injury from dance practice the week before. He quickly scanned the line to his right. Only 12 more fans to go.
He scrabbled his signature in the album of the front of him, and flashed her a bright smile. "There you go."
The girl quickly moved on, clearly more interested in Kris, who was sitting next to him.
The next girl was a foreigner. She blushed as she approached him with a hesitant smile.
On her album was a post-it with clumsily written Korean on it - "I don't speak Korean, I'm sorry. Saranghae!" Chanyeol chuckled.
"English?", he asked with what he hoped was a decent accent. "Yes!" "Ah.. Good!" And that was about as complicated as this conversation could get. Chanyeol cursed his poor language skills.
He quickly found his page in the book-style album, and started scribbling "I Love You, Chanyeol" when he noticed something had already been written on the page. "Chanyeol + Baekhyun = 10080 4ever."
That was the 7th album he signed today that had the number 10080 in it. One fan had asked him to promise "never to become 10080". He had been very confused by the bizarre request, but decided to go along with it and told her he never would.
