Taemin hates Minho, hates that stupid man with a stupid, stupid passion, hates everything about him from the way he coughs to the way he flips his book. Taemin hates Minho, and it's for an even more stupid reason that he does because, in the end, everything was inevitable, but hating him was not.

They were friends. Taemin used to provide Minho more than admiration; whether it was adulation or deference, he gave it with servility, because Minho was a role model. He still is, of course. Minho is a role model. Taemin's just stupid, he's just stuck-up.

And Taemin hates Yoona. Hates the way she holds Minho's hand, hates the way she blows him bubblegum kisses like he's hers. Which he is, of course. Minho is hers, he belongs to her, he's under her strings, he plays by the perpetually manicured tips of her digits. Which is fine with Taemin. Taemin doesn't care, you see. It's okay, he supposes, to cry out of anger, to cry out of frustration, to cry because he doesn't give a - not anymore, not ever. Taemin didn't, doesn't, will never care, because he hates that stupid boy, hates that stupid girl, hates both of them with a passion so stupid he feels like ripping his hair from his head -
