Tao stared at a picture he'd taken earlier while sightseeing in Russia. He was currently lazying on a couch in one of the hotel rooms.

 

"What are you looking at?,"

 

He looked up to see his duizhang hovering behind the couch. As always, the other had a blank stare look.

 

"You," Tao answered.

 

"Who?,"

 

"I am looking at duizhang," Tao replied.

 

"Why? Not having enough of me?," Kris asked with a smirk.

 

Tao couldn't help but roll his eyes at the answer. Leave it to his duizhang to be always this arrogant about himself whenever they were alone.

 

"You look cute,"

 

"And why is that?,"

 

Kris climbed over the back of the couch to settle down next to the youngest member of EXO-M. Tao showed the other a picture with a cute and small fluffy  white striped tiger perched on Kris' right shoulder. Kris coughed at the picture.

 

"Uhm, well... The fans wanted it,"

 

"I thought you never like cute things,"

 

"True, but not always. There are exceptions,"

 

"Like this?,"

 

"For example... And there's also Ace..., and the fat panda you got when we were at China airport...," Kris ticked off.

 

Upon hearing some familiar names the other was ticking off, he waited for a certain answer. Hoping that he'd get the answer, Tao felt his heart beat a titbit faster. 

 

But... nothing came after that anymore. Tao frowned. 

 

"That's all?,"Tao couldn't help but ask.

 

"Just about it," Kris nodded giving the other a smile.

 

Tao felt like his heart was crushed. He felt heartbroken. Did the other forget him? Did he mean nothing to the other? Even a little bit...

 

"What's wrong?,"

 

"Nothing,"

 

Tao sulked. Ignoring the other he pressed the back button to look through other pictures. He was in no mood to look at the other now. He decided he should just go and grab Mc Donald's. Without duizhang

 

"Tao,"

 

Tao winced at his duizhang's stern voice. Whenever his duizhang uses that tone, he knew the other was serious and wouldn't take 'no' for an answer.

 

"What is wrong?," Kris asked again.

 

Tao looked up at the taller lad. He could see worry in those beautiful brown orbs. Those eyes he's fallen in love with quite a while ago.

 

"Did I say something wrong?," Kris asked.

 

"No," Tao answered.

 

"Why the sulky face?," 

 

Tao knew the other could read him like an open book. Whenever there was something bothering him, then Kris would always be there to console him and give a reassuring pat or hug. Whenever he wanted someone to listen to him, just because he was happy, then the other would be there to listen to his stories, no matter how long he talked.

 

"It's funny how you know my emotions and yet you don't know what is bothering me," Tao almost snorted.

 

"I may have an idea what is bothering you, but I ain't going to tell you that. I want you to tell me by yourself," Kris replied as he wrapped an arm around the other.

 

Tao didn't say anything. He kept quiet. Kris sighed.

 

"Is it maybe I didn't list you as one of the exceptions?," Kris started.

 

Tao stiffened involuntarily. Bingo! Kris knew what that meant. He had guessed it right.

 

"Is it?," Kris pressed on.

 

"Fine! Yes!," Tao suddenly burst out. He semi-glared at the other, still fuming.

 

A deep chuckle. Then laughter erupted through the living-room.

 

"You are so cute Tao," Kris brought out in between his laughter. Tao frowned. What is so funny that the other had to laugh at him like this?

 

"What is so funny?," Tao asked, getting annoyed.

 

Finally when Kris had finished laughing did he look at the other, a smile on his face.

 

"You said I never like cute things. I said there are exceptions," Kris said.

 

Tao frowned. He didn't understand what the other meant. Kris sighed. For a smart person, sometimes the other was really dense.

 

"Things, Tao... I listed off objects, things... You, on the other hand aren't an object. You are not a thing,"Kris explained while playing with Tao's pierced ear lovingly.

 

Finally Tao got what the other meant and slowly, a smile made its way to his confused face. Grinning like an idiot, he pressed a chaste kiss on his duizhang's lips. Kris smiled down at him.

 

"Ok!," Tao chirped.

 

"You are so cute!" Kris pinched Tao's nose playfully. Tao gave a bright smile.

 

He was happy again. He decided to grab some Mc Donald's... With duizhang.

 

 

 

The next time Tao went on his Weibo, he changed his profile picture to Kris and the white striped tiger perched on his shoulder. All Taoris fans went crazy.
