When it rains again
Description
It’s never easy to move on. But now was the time.
And that was exactly the reason why she was standing here, alone, with her precious little diary. The flames stirring in front of her sounded like a promise. So, one by one, she tore every pages darkened by her writing, her story, and threw them in the fire.
As she reached for the last page, she smiled, and looked at it for a while.
«I wonder if I knew, back then, that a human being could be so easily breakable… That just a second of inattention could be enough to be shattered in a thousand pieces. Because that's exactly how I feel now. I’m just a freak, among which the flesh and the blood had been burst in thousands pieces, and scattered in the four corners of the earth, and of which it would be impossible to pick up the pieces. »
Well, maybe it was time to try to collect all these pieces, she thought with a dreamy smile.
She threw the last page in embers, and watched all of her despair burn, hoping that, like a phoenix, she would be reborn of these ashes, and could begin to live.
Again.
