“It happened so fast. I remember the back end of our van hitting the concrete wall, I remember watching the landscape swirl around me, and I remember quite vividly, that before the impact happened, as the car was racing over the fog line, that I saw a bee mascot, then heard our manager yell, “Bug!” And then I heard a horrific noise. And the world went black.” Taeyeon said when SNSD were eating dinner. Without Jessica.

It’s only been a couple of hours since Jessica caught her, been a couple of hours since Jessica told her she loves her but still needed some time off. Taeyeon doesn’t know what to do anymore, hence her story telling began. She could not handle her emotions anymore . She have been bottling it up for years, and now that her friends are here to listen to her, to support them, she wouldn’t hold back anymore. She’ll answer whatever they ask. And it has been hours since Taeyeon kept on telling their story. Their whole story.

“Okay,” Tiffany said. “Once Jessie wants to talk to you again, you can explain all that to her. Seriously she’s not a Neanderthal. She’ll be able to listen to you. Eventually, she’ll become reasonable. Right now she’s just upset.” Baby Seolhyun nods in agreement.

　　“You’re all good friends.” Taeyeon said, sniffing hard. Tiffany hugged her.

　　“You’re a good friend too,”

　　“I feel sad. And stupid. Mostly stupid.” Taeyeon wiped her misty eyes.

“We’re good people who sometimes do bad, crazy, inappropriate things with the idea that we’re deeply flawed people driven to impress or, and make our love ones feel loved.” Yuri explained softly as she mindlessly finds Yoona’s hand under the table and holds it.

“Even if we do it in a bad, crazy, inappropriate way.” Yoona added, glancing at her side to give her Yuri a reassuring smile.

“Wow! You’re a total assshole!”

“SOOYOUNG!” yelled Sunny, followed by Hyoyeon’s hand hitting the poor Sooyoung’s head.

“Taeyeon unnie don’t worry we’ll help you talk to Jessica unnie,” Seolhyun firmly said with her baby face oozing with eagerness, causing the older ones to be awed.

“She grows too fast!” Sunny exclaimed, earning a lot of approval around the table. Tiffany hugged their maknae.

Their night somehow ended peacefully just a little bit rattled because Sooyoung choked. Not only once.

But still they never felt closer than ever before.

Taeyeon will always be lucky to have her family around. Family like this only comes around once in a lifetime. Taeyeon knows this, and so does the other 8 girls.

　　Later that night.

“It was my fault.”

“Yeah,” Jessica agreed, “It was.”

Jessica’s comment seemed to stop Tayeon’s train of thoughts. In the silence that followed, Jessica watched her, trying to assess whether she was feeling this upset because of what Taeyeon did or because the love of her life was caught. She was her lover once, someone who Jessica trusted.

“Tell me how it happened,” Jessica finally said. Trying once again.
