“It’s just a ing dream. A. ing. Dream.”

Taeyeon kept on mumbling to herself as she walk towards their kitchen but stops when sees Jessica sitting on their sofa “I don’t want to eat cereal,” she started.

“Who said you’re eating cereal.” Jessica didn’t even bother to look up from the page that she’d been staring at for the last 10 minutes. “Hyo cooked before leaving.” she tried to say as flatly as she could.

Jessica has been silently waiting, sitting outside of Tae’s Doctor’s room. She’s lying if she said that she’s not nervous, because no matter how much she tries to hate the latter for breaking her into pieces, she is still the main reason why she is feeling whole again. Even if it’s just a one liner conversation (because of her) or a ‘holding hands because we’re gonna cross the street’(mostly Taeyeon) her heart just can't seem to forget Taeyeon, no matter how hard she tries.

The door which Sica had been starring at since the patient enters it opened, making Jessica stand instantly.

“I’m okay,” Taeyeon saw the concerned look on Jessica’s so she immedietely reassures her love, and Sica’s glance at her softens, Taeyeon grins, saying it somehow worked.

“It’s still early to go home,” Taeyeon chirped as she opened the hospital’s door for Sica. “You should rest.” Sica statted stiffly.

“I don’t want to go home yet, I’m not tired,” Taeyeon pouted, Sica unexpectedly gasps. Even after all this years, it still affects her, Taeyeon still affects her. Even the small gestures that Taeyeon makes, Sica’s heart clench. Not knowing if she’s happy that Tae is safe from the incident or hurt because she is not supposed to be just the one to remember everything. About them.

“You know-” Taeyeon whined the type of whine that she knows very well that Sica can’t ignore “Just go ahead,” She ended it with a puppy eyes landing on the ground still pouting.

Jessica did give up. But starting to think that maybe, just maybe not on them.

“Whatever it is, I’m sorry.” Taeyeon said as she take the vacant swing beside Jessica who is taken aback and currently resting on a swing.

“What?” Jessica’s eyebrow raised as she glance at the swinging Taeyeon.

“I’m sorry,” Tae smiled the type of smile that Jessica knows she’s hiding something.

“For what?” Jessica said, hint of irritability already audible.

“For whatever it is,” Taeyeon ended it with a chuckle and that made Sica snap.

“For crying outloud Taeyeon stop fooling me.” it’s evident that Jessica is mad but still managed to not raise her voice.

“I’m not fooling you.” Taeyeon stopped her swinging and looked at her upset angel beside her. “Oh please!” Yes Jessica just rolled her eyes then continues, “You're apologizing for something you don’t even know and you know what made it worse?!” Your ing smile Jessica thought. “You smiling which made it obviously insincere!” Jessica stood up and left.

Taeyeon didn’t waste any second. She jumped onto her feet and followed Sica.

“I’m serious.” She said finally caughting up with sica. “No you’re not.” Sica is still walking in a fast pace. “Yes I am.” The starting to sweat Taeyeon said while panting.

“As if.” Even Taeyeon didn’t see, she knew Jessica just rolled her eyes.

“I love you.” It worked. Jessica stopped walking/jogging but still back facing Taeyeon.

“I’m serious about you Jessica Jung Sooyeon.” Jessica faced Taeyeon. “And I love you. I love you with all my bits and pieces, although there aren’t too many of me.”Tae ended her confession with a shy chuckle.

Jessica should be mad, Taeyeon just apologized out of the blue and confessed to her out of nowhere. But her wet cheeks says another, she shouldn’t feel this way but when Taeyeon cupped her cheeks, her eyes shut tight. When Taeyeon closes the gap between their lips, her heart swelled up with so much love that it makes up, all of the wrong doings of Taeyeon. So when Taeyeon said she loves her again. She says it back.
