Three minutes is a short amount of time to do anything. Three minutes is impossible to make a decent speech on stage. Three minutes is too short to finish a nutritious breakfast. Three minutes is not sufficient to walk from one end on the earth to another. Three minutes is not enough to compose a beautiful melody, but three minutes is enough to make a love declaration. Three minutes is enough to change two people’s lives. Three minutes is enough to fulfil someone’s dreams. Three minutes is enough to make someone love again. But most of all, three minutes is enough, to get someone who doesn’t believe in you, to return complete faith and trust back into you. All you need is three minutes.

Author’s Note: The whole timeline is warped, and all the events like Japanese promotions, and SM Town live and SSK and Jonghyun’s break up is different. In the flashback, the Japanese promotions mean Gee and Genie, which, at that point of time, have not been released yet. (you'll understand once the parts are up)
And this story will be written in two, or three parts depending on how long it is... seems like a three-parter, but whatever.

Jonghyun’s eyes met hers once more. Both of them had a determined look in their eyes, as if it was a showdown. It was all so dramatic. She glanced at the clock, nodded, and instructed, “Your three minutes start now.”

“Penny for your thoughts, sweetie?” Jonghyun’s calming voice appeared from beside her, and he handed her a drink while stuffing a coin back in his pocket. “Nothing much. Besides, it’s a long story that we both know about already.” Jessica replied, shooting him a knowing and grateful look.

“Alright, say it, dear.” Jonghyun looked at her briefly.
“Promise me that you’ll never change and you’ll love me no matter what. Okay?” She said.
“That’s not a question. And plus, you know the answer. If you do need further clarification – I promise.”
