Beads of sweat trickled from the creases of his forehead as he grasped the tiny red velvet box from his leather jacket. Facing her, he placed it on the table with his shaking fingers. His cheeks flushed as he grappled with his mouth and brain in order to spit those words he had been practicing for the whole three months they have been together. He decided it was time.
