I closed my eyes as Sica pulled me onto the stage. “Hey,” she smiled, ruffling my hair.

“H-hey... Err.. I....-“

I stumbled backwards as my eyes fluttered open. “Aishhh, this girl. Stop dreaming!” Sehun flicked my foreheard once again, but softer than before.

“She’s never going to pull you up. Tsk. Stop dreaming.”

“You never know, what if one day it really happens.” I mehrong-ed him and went towards the canteen.

 “I heard there’s a new boy.” Sehun tapped his chin as I chewed my food.

“And I heard he got into SHINee already, right?” I replied casually, still enjoying my heaven.

“Pft, I bet he looks like a du- OH MY IS THAT HIM?! HE’S GORGEOUS!” Rolling my eyes, I ignored all of his fanboying an continued with my lunch. That guy is seriously something.

“Yah Jung Soojung look at him!!!!” he shook my body; food on my spoon spilled on my skirt. Before anyone could knew it, “OH SEHUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!”

“Soojung-ah yo- HAHAHAHA. You sh- HAHA-“ Before I could let Sehun continue his damn laughs, I stuffed tissues inside it and walked away, “eat that.”

Sehun scoffed, throwing the disgusting tissues covered by his drool into the trashbin. Changed, I’m the one who’s laughing so hard now as he’s now the center of attention.

“Se- Sehun-ah!! HAHAHAHA”

“Dear, we have new neighbors!” Mom yelled as soon as I arrived home, “Go and check on them later on!” she added.

I sighed as I threw my bag to a corner of my room. Oh, how I hate making new friends.

Getting dressed up in a light pink hoodie, I knocked on their door with my right hand; my left hand holding the plate of cookies Mom baked earlier.

“Err.. hi?” I smiled awkwardly as a boy opened the door.

“You must be our neighbor, right? Come in, mom’s waiting for you.” he stated, with no expressions.

And I already know from now on, I hate this guy here.

“Hey sweetie!” a lady, probably as old as my mom greeted me cheerfully.

“Hi, Mrs... umm..”

“Call me eomma.”

I widened my eyes in shock. She’s crazy! I mean, I just met her now and she told me to call her eomma?!

“O-okay.. eomma... My mom baked some cookies for you so.. err.. here...?”

“Wait, I’ll go call my children.” she smiled and told me to take a sit first. Just then, a beautiful girl and the boy earlier went down the stairs, together with ‘eomma’.

“Hi! You must be our neighbor, right? I’m Sooyoung! It’s so nice to have a beautiful neighbor like you! Oh look! Cookies, I love them so much! Did you bring this for us? Gosh you’re also kind! I guess we’re so lucky to move in here, aren’t we? We have such kind and pretty neighbor! So anyways what’s your name? Oh and your phone number too please. I was wondering maybe we could be best friends?”

By then I made a mental note to myself: be patient with Sooyoung.

“Hi I’m Soojung...? Here’s my number,” I muttered, punching my number into her phone.

“Thanks! Oh meet my brother! He’s Minho!”

Diverting my attention, I stared at the boy there. Somehow, he looks like the new boy Sehun had been fanboying earlier, but well, let’s just see later.

“Soojung.” I mumbled expressionless, like how he did earlier. I could see him scoff at how I introduce myself to hin, yet I couldn't care less about his response. I just hate him, and that 'him' is Minho, the expresionless guy which is unfortunately my damn new neighbor.
