There once lived a boy, and a watchful angel that peered down at him from the fields of heaven.  The angel spent his time this, observing the humans who lived below.  In the angel’s free time, he’d watch over the Earth, observing the humans who lived below. He saw the souls he was sure that would one day enjoy the Heaven he lived in, and he saw the souls that he was certain would taste God’s hateful flames.

But the angel pays particular attention to a kind named Sehun, a kid that comes from a broken family and suffers all kinds of abuse in his life. He's stubborn, and a lot of the times angry, though there used to be a time when he was happy. The angel had heard of tales far worse than the fate of the boy's, but somehow his heart is pained when he sees him harmed, and joyed when he sees him happy. The day comes where Sehun considers suicide, and the angel just can't take it. Angred and sorrowful, he watches the scene and wishes he could do more than just watch. He didn't want the boy to die so soon, so unhappy. So he tears the wings from his back, baring with the pain until each feather is plucked and fallen. At last he dives into the world, willing to be fallen if his wish can be fulfilled. His wish to be with Sehun and make him happy.
