~Author's Note~

Thank you so much for subscribing and upvoting my fiction :D I love you all!!! I hope you all enjoy this oneshot. I know I took a while in writing it, but hopefully it was worth the wait. there will be MORE YoonYul stories from me :D Please comment your thoughts, your favourite part, improvements. I hope I didn't make anyone cry this time. I know some of you were sad because Yoona was dead in my last oneshot (which was not a oneshot).*hugs and kisses* If I could have, I'd really have hugged you all for supporting my story. You people inspirie me to continue my writing. I will need a new muse though. My former muse... is no longer mine to muse upon. I'd just have to find something else to give my creative brain that extra boost. Okay, enough reading my rambling!! Onwards to the story. :D

Side note: One of my friends read I Remember and could not believe that I wrote it .-. Then said it was my best story so far xD Why would she not believe that I wrote it? Hmph!!

This will have another chapter. So look forward to it :D

“Are you really going to wear that to her wedding?” Hyoyeon scoffed as I slipped into my knee length black dress with the sweetheart neckline.

“What’s wrong with it?” I asked, casting an eye at my reflection in the mirror.

“You’ve had months to figure out what you were wearing and you choose this? It’s a wedding, Yuri, not a funeral!” Hyoyeon exclaimed, “Happy colour honey. Bright ones.”

I looked lost. I had come back from covering a story in Switzerland to find out that one of my closest friends, Tiffany, was engaged and set to be married to her long time love Taeyeon in three weeks. My job as a journalist kept me going all day, all week. I barely had time to shop for a dress and I had not found anything suitable. Of course, Hyoyeon blamed it on my lack of interest in dresses. I really did not like them. They were so confining and tedious.

“As your friend,” Hyoyeon began going to my closet and pawing through my clothes, “And Tiffany’s friend, I cannot let you leave this room looking like that.” She gestured at my sombre appearance.

“Why not?” I whined, knowing I was being difficult. I had not wanted to go to a wedding. I was only going because Tiffany was a long-standing friend of mine.

Hyoyeon glared at me, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way, Kwon. Either way, you will not go looking like that.”

Sometimes, I thought, as I let the dress fall to the floor around me, Hyoyeon really scared me. As I undid the string of pearls around my neck, Hyoyeon pulled out a purple strapless dress, simple but elegant. I slipped into it and turned around to have her zip it up.

“Perfect,” she said when I turned back around. I had to agree with her, the dress hugged all my curves without being too overdone.

“I guess this could work,” I said, trying to sound nonchalant.

“Admit it, you prefer this,” Hyoyeon replied grinning at me.

“I do. Now you get dressed! Else we’ll be late and the bride will kill us,” I responded, sitting down to put on my heels, “We have an hour to reach and check in with Tiff before the ceremony. “

Hyoyeon nodded and pulled out her deep blue, knee length dress. She picked up her matching clutch from the table and grabbed her keys. “Let’s go.”

I check my reflection once more then followed her to the car.

“She’s the first of our college trio to tie the knot,” I commented.

“Who’ll be next?” Hyoyeon said raising an eyebrow at me.

“You have Jessica and I have… no one right now,” I replied, pouting a little, “Will you ask her to marry you or is she going to ask you?”

Hyoyeon giggled, “Jess ask me. That Barbie.” The words were laced with affection.

Jessica and Hyoyeon were as opposite as the day sky to the night, but just as in both there were the moon and stars; there were things that kept them together. I guess the differences made it all the more exciting.

“we’ve talked about it,” she continued, pulling me out of my reverie, “But we both agreed that we want our careers to be a bit more stable before we make it permanent. She
