"Face it, Himchan, he may not wake up anymore. Get up from that chair and move your lazy down the corridor to have just a single ing meal," a girl says, almost screaming.

"I can't. He's my best friend, and if you don't want to give me my meals here, then I won’t eat. I won't move an inch from this ing chair until he's awake," a boy with a raspy voice replies. "And how can you eat with him being like this?"

"Fine. I'll give you your meal here; just this once. From now on you must get up and go with me to the cafeteria to have it, okay?"

"Not you, him," the girl seems to finally shut up with these words, and Yongguk can see what he thinks they're them looking at as if he was the new attraction of the zoo.

 

"Yongguk?" the girl asks. her hair is died light brown and she has blue contacts. A lot of tattoos run down her arm, and he tries to focus his sight on her. She scares him.

 

"Yongguk? Can you listen to me?" the boys mumbles, and Yongguk looks at him; brown hair, brown eyes, pale unblemished skin. He looks concerned about him and Yongguk can't understand why, but tries to give him a reassuring smile.

 

"Can you give me some water?" is all yongguk can say when he feels his dry throat. Himchan pulls a red button to his side and smiles. He tries to sit up on the bed and the girl runs out of the bedroom to come back with a glass of water in a shaking hand. When Yongguk touches her fingers to take the glass, they're warm. He decides he likes her.

 

Two women step into the bedroom but Himchan hugs him when he tries to sit up and get a sight of them. Are they neighbors? The girl's friends? Himchan's girlfriend and her friend?

 

He tries to ask about them but he gets distracted because his hurts, like he has been napping on the bed for a thousand years. He tries to wake up his but he doesn't want to put a funny show in front of these people.

 

"Why is my so sore?" he asks before he takes a sip. The girl can manage a little smile while looking at her feet, but the boy that seemed to be Himchan looks at him.

 

"You can't remember, can you?" They both keep quiet, and Yongguk leaves the glass cup on a tiny table by his bed, trying to look at the girls that stepped into the room two minutes ago. He frowns when he realises they're not there anymore and looks at Himchan again.

 

"What does that even mean? Am I the passive one or...?" the girl finally bursts into laughing and Himchan furrows his eyebrows while hitting Yongguk's arm.

 

"No, you . Actually you're ing straight, and I have a boyfriend." The girl keeps laughing, but she looks at himchan and then stops. They look at each other for too long until Yongguk awkwardly speaks.

 

"I'm sorry... did I say something wrong or...?"

 

"Not at all," she quickly replies. "My name is Natasha. I'm your sister. Can you remember that?" Yongguk shakes his head and furrows his eyebrows.

 

"You can't be my sister. I would remember my sister," a sad smile crosses her face for a second and she takes his hands in hers.

 

"Yongukkie, you had an accident three months ago. A car accident. You've been in a coma for those three months" she says, and Yongguk freezes.

 

He now sees the white walls, the single chair next to his bed where himchan is sitting and the hospital clothes. He realises the girls that were there before were nurses, and that Himchan was calling them with the red button. He looks at the serum in his arm and feels nauseous.

 

"What... what am I doing here?" he mumbles trying to get up. "I don't want to be here. I want to go home," he says before Natasha holds him in place.

 

"Yonggukie you can't go home. Not now, not like this"

 

"I want to go home. If I've been here for three months then why the am I still here if I woke up?" he says plucking his serum.

 

"Himchan, go find a nurse" Natasha says, and Himchan runs out of the door.

 

"Why are you doing this to me if you're my sister?" he says with tears in his eyes. "You're not my sister. My sister wouldn't make me stay here."

 

"If it is for your own good then of course I would, Yongguk," she says as three nurses and a doctor enter the room, inserting the serum with something in it that makes he feel sleepy.

 

"I don't want to sleep. I've been sleeping for three months," he says trying to keep his eyes open.

 

"Just a bit more, Yongguk." Himchan says taking his hand with his own. "Just a little bit more."
