Chapter 3: It's getting interesting, and I don't here a British dude narrating in my head anymore! I'm curious as to the main character's motivation though, is he just bored?

Chapter 1: I think the idea is good as well as the plot so far, but the way it's written makes it sound like a documentary with one of those British guys narrating. This keeps the audience at an emotional distance. If this is what you intended, then everything is good. However, if this was not your intent, then you need to find a style or voice that draws the audience into the story. I'm not too sure how to do this, but keep in mind that this does not necessarily involve switching to another point of view (I.e. from 3rd person to 1st person).
