Throughout his 278 days of being a trainee (not that he counted), Baekhyun’s dream was to join a ballad group. He was to be the main singer (or at least a lead), sing about love songs to noonas and make fan girls around the world cry.

So when he was removed from nearly debuting ballad group Black Pearl, he was thrown for a loop when he was put in dance/idol group Machine, also known as the group with love of his life actor turned main dancer, also known as the group that hated his guts.

Baekhyun hadn’t been expecting his trip to stardom to be easy, but he never expected it to be this hard either.
