Your Melody

SEOHYUN’S POV

                I was on my way to the library when I heard a beautiful song playing on the background. It’s lunch break and most of the students are in the canteen eating lunch.

                I followed where the sound came from and it led me to the school’s abandoned music room. I peeked through the small window but can’t see everything because of the dust collecting there so I just opened the door just enough to fit my head through.

                There is Jongwoon, a senior, playing the piano while singing to a song. I took a breath, mesmerized by its beauty. I was startled when he stopped playing and faced me.

                “I-I’m sorry to disturb sunbaenim.”

                He smiled. “I know you.”

                “Eh?” I thought. How come? We’re not even classmates and I’m not popular. How did he-

                “Hi Joohyun, let’s be friends.”

I shook his outstretched hand and asked. “How did you know my name?”

He blushed. “It’s because uhm…I have a crush on you.” He whispered but I still heard him clearly. I smiled and patted his cheeks.
