“You’re half an hour late, mister.”

“I’m sorry, princess. I’m really sorry.”

“You’re all, wet.”

 

She looks at him from his head to his shoe. 

 

“His body, tho.”

 

“Hey, hey. What are you looking at?”

“Huh? N-Nothing. Pay me 50 bucks. Now.”

“Fifty whaa—That’s too much.”

“Okay then. Bye.”

 

Sooyoung walks away and pouts but before she could giggle, she felt a hand touching her small hand and pulling her into a place where everything was heard.  She was pulled into his embrace and have let her face touched his chest.

“I’m sorry, Sooyoung.”

“Kris..”

“I’m sorry, really. Please don’t go.”

“Kris..”

The bell rung and school was over. Sooyoung stood up and packed her stuff in her bag.

 

"Argh. Just stuff it all in. It's Friday after all."

 

Sooyoung places her chair neatly under her desk before running through the school stairs. She had a date. Yes, a date. With a good-looking boy, very charming indeed yet clumsy. 

 

"Sooyoung coming through! Thank you."

 

She got excited. Super excited. She ran faster than light that, the teachers thought it was lightning. Or, an ostrich swimming? The excitement lasted only awhile. She felt someone gripped on her hand real tight and she was halfway to fall on the oh-so-nice floor. 

 

"So familiar.."

 

The gripped got harder and she was pulled. She was pulled so hard that her nose almost break.

 

"So warm.."

 

Her face was burried in this familiar clothing, the familiar scent, the familiar heart beat.

 

"Sssh."

 

He said.

 

"Why?"

 

"Sssh."

 

She blinked slowly as she stop to breathe, getting to listen to that heart beat once again. And after five seconds of listening to the rhythm of love, the boy in front of her pulled her chin up.

"You can continue breathing as usual, you know." 

 

He chuckles, so softly that you couldn't hear. And so, she exhales after looking down at their matching shoes. 

 

"I'll walk you home?"

 

"You-.."

 

Before she could finish her sentence, she was kissed. So deep. Deeper than the sea. She smiled and tiptoe to reply his soft kisses. 

 

"You're dead. And you're too sweet."

 

"Why so?"

 

"Too sweet. I'll get obese."

 

He laughed. [just imagine Kris laughing with his eye-smile and his perfect teeth. hell yeah he'll make you pregnant.] 

 

"Tsk. That face again."

 

"What? Am I too good-looking?"

 

"Psht. Let's go."

 

"Go where?"

 

"Uhm, home?"

 

He made that what-is-happening face and nodded.

They cycled up the hill and to this undeniably gigantic house. It's Sooyoung's house. It was surrounded by thousands of red bricks, showing how strong the house is. They stopped in front of the house gate. Sooyoung and Kris hopped off the bike and rung the bell. 

 

"I'll go in."

 

"What? Why?"

 

The gate opened and they entered.

 

"Just to say hi to your mom."

 

"Mom! I'm home!"

 

Mrs. Choi walked through the alley and smiled to Sooyoung and moved her eyes to Kris.

 

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Choi."

 

"Hello there, Kris. Why won't you come in and have some snack?"

 

"No thanks. I need to head home. I'll pick Sooyoung at seven o'clock later. Is that fine with you, Mrs. Choi?"

 

"Oh sure, sure. Be back before eleven, okay?"

 

"Yes, ma'am. I'll get going first. Bye, Mrs. Choi. See you later, Sooyoung."

 

He bowed to Mrs. Choi and waved at Sooyoung. Sooyoung grinned as she wave, looking at Kris leaving. 

 

"I've placed your dress and heels on your bed."

 

"Thanks, mom. Love you."

 

Sooyoung kissed her mom on her cheeks and off she go, skipping happily in the house.
