"Are you ready?"   "For what?"   "To win!" Jongin's eyes beamed with excitement as he looked towards the stage.   Kyungsoo wasn't really feeling the spirit, he was more worried about tripping on stage or doing something to embarrass himself, "I'm scared..." he looked up at Jongin.   "Here," Jongin reached his pinky towards Kyungsoo and as soon as their pinkies attached, Jongin pulled him up from the wooden gym floor. "I promise it will be fine," he assured Kyungsoo.   When finally on stage, Kyungsoo's eyes won't stay focused, he was looking everywhere but Jongin was calm and as soon as he noticed the nervous wreck beside him, he squeezed his hand gently and whispered, "I'm here, hyung. Just pretend it's the two of us... just us!"   Kyungsoo's heart skipped a beat again but he ignored it this time and closed his eyes, imagining just him and Jongin just like they had practiced. 'I can do it!' he told himself, 'I'll do it for Jongin!'   "Good job you two!" clapped Miss Oh and looked super proud of Kyungsoo, especially since she was his homeroom teacher. "I'm sure if Shinhwa saw you right now, they would be so proud!" Kyungsoo and Jongin performed to Shinhwa's "Eusha Eusha" and the other students and judges were just so hyped after the performance.   "So are we-"   "Of course you're in!" Miss Kim jumped up with excitement. "I can't wait to see what you guys will perform at the actual talent show."   Kyungsoo's eyes were wide open and Jongin couldn't stop smiling. Jongin just jumped on Kyungsoo and gave him the biggest hug while jumping up and down.   It was Jongin's dream to be on stage and dance, and even though this was just a small talent show, doing something like this with Kyungsoo meant a lot to him.   "Make sure to practice for the real show this Friday," Miss Jung reminded everyone auditioning, "don't be late... and you two," she looked at Jongin and Kyungsoo, "you guys are going first so you better be on time. Got it?"   "Yes ma'am!" Jongin replied gladly.   "Alright, you guys can go now" Miss Kim dismissed the kids and Jongin got up to his feet in a split second.   "What's wrong?"    "I really need to go to the washroom..."   The silly Jongin made the shy Kyungsoo smile.   "Hyung," he said, "if those bullies ever bother you, just call out my name and I'll be there, ok?"   'How did he know I was thinking about that?' Kyungsoo's eyes popped up with surprise.   "Why?" Kyungsoo snapped, not knowing why he was asking this stupid question, "why would I call you?"   Jongin just smiled and said, "because I promised you. Jaein screamed across the living room where Jongin was watching Pokemon on TV.   "What? Why?" he was confused but ignored her because he knew how she liked to prank him from time to  time.   Jaein stood in front of the TV which only made Jongin angry, "What do you want?"   "I'm serious! Mom and dad just called from work and they said we're leaving for Japan tonight," she did sound serious which made Jongin surprised and worried.   "No.. wait... that's not possible," he was trying to collect all his thoughts, "why?"   Jaein broke down in front of the TV as she tried to explain but her words weren't comprihendable because she was crying too much. Jongin ran to his little sister and comforted her, "It's ok, oppa understands. Don't cry."   Five minutes later, his parents arrived home. Without a word, they both went to their room and all that could be heard was zips going back and forth. That sound was ripping Jongin's heart slowly each time. 'This is not happening... there's no way-' his thoughts were interrupted when his mom walked into his room with an empty suitcase.   "I'm sorry.
