I was hungry.

I made a bowl of cereal for myself.

I took a bite. Two. Three.

And suddenly, I couldn’t eat anymore.

I couldn’t taste it.

I couldn’t feel anything.

Just the horrible urge to throw it all up.

To scrub myself clean.

To scrub, until I see the raw, red skin.

I don’t know why.
