L's P.O.V

L's alarm woke him up and he had to get out of bed.

 "Ughh another boring, tiring day" He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth and hair. He went down to the kitchen to make himself his breakfast but he heard his phone vibrate, he went over to the table and looked at the message

    To: L

 From: Hoya

Hey! Listen were outside your house, so come down now!"L shrugged

  "Well, I guess I am going to have to skip breakfast now" He thought, he got his bag and went outside. 

 "Hey!! Com on, lets go!!" Hoya yelled and got in the car. He went in and went to school, his stomach started growling. 

  "Ughh this is going to be a pain if my stomach keeps growling, I have to get breakfast" He thought and he wanted to go to his class so he can put his bag down. He went in and saw the weird girl sleeping.

 "Hmmm, she's here early, I guess she's bored or something, well don't wanna wake her or she'll talk to me better go there quietly and-" BOOM he drooped a chair accidently. He was surprised at what happened and saw the weird girl waking up.

 "Ughhh well that didn't go as smoothly as I thought it would" He thought and just went over to his desk casually and put his bag down. He saw the weird girl turn towards him and smile.

 "Seriously, how can she still smile" He thought and was about to leave when he heard her spoke

 "Oh! Hey L good morning, how are you doing today?" He was shocked she remembered his name. He rolled his eyes and spoke

 "Yeah, I'm fine, By the way I am sorry that I dropped the chair didn't mean to wake you" Suzy smiled at him 

 "Ehehe, it's fine I was just taking a short nap since my unnies came really early to pick me up" She said and was going to put her head back down when she heard a growling noise. He looked at his stomach and turned around, she started to giggle.

 "Did you skip breakfast?" She asked

 "Ughh the last person I wanted to hear my stomach growl -_-" He thought "Uhmm yeah it's nothing, anyway i'm going to buy lunch so.....bye" He waved to her and walked away but he felt a small pull on his sleeve, he looked and saw her smiling at him. "Again with that smile"

 "What is it?" She handed him a sandwich "Here!"

 "Why are you giving me this?" 

 "Because that way you don't have to buy breakfast" 

"Bu-" The bell cut him off and everyone had to get to their seats. He sat down and looked at her, he saw that she was ready to learn even though she looked like she was going to pass out. He laughed a little and opened the sandwich. He finished it and thought of an idea, when the bell rang and it was lunch time he went up to Suzy and pulled her towards the cafeteria. 

 "Uhmmm, Hey what are you doing......again?" She asked and he just held her hand and pulled her into the cafeteria and pull a chair out and put her in it and told her to stay.

Suzy's P.O.V

"Hmm well he brought me to the cafeteria....I wonder why?" then she saw him walk over to her with two lunch trays and he placed one tray in front of her and one for him. She gave him a look and he responded.

"Thats! for giving me your sandwich this morning." He said and continued eating his lunch. Suzy laughed at how cute and sweet he could be. She just quietly ate her lunch, they both finished and threw out their tray. She turned to him 

"Uhmm hey L?" He looked at her

"Yeah?"

"I was wondering if you could wait outside the gate again?" He looked at her and thought why she would want him to wait outside and he thought it was to repay him again for the lunch

"Listen, if this is to repay me for lunch then I don-" She cut him off before he could finish

"No!!!" He jumped because she just randomly yelled

"Then why?" He looked at her

"Well, I actually wanted to know if you would hang out with me today?" She looked at him. He looked at her really confusingly 

"Hang....out?" 

"Yeah, I mean if you can't it's totally fine" She said looking at the ground kicking her feet. He smiled a little and thought about it.

"Hmm well I am not doing anything sooo yeah sure" She looked at him and smiled really big

"Yay~ Great then i'll see you right after the final bell in front of the gate!! Bye!!!" She said and ran to her class" L smiled and walked away. They both left the cafeteria and everyone was just really shocked at just what happened. The big bad boy gangster hanging out with the sweet innocent Suzy?!?

Suzy was running to her class breathlessly

"Ehehe, yay I can't believe I asked him.....I can't believe he actually said yes too?!?" ok well I hope this goes well can't wait!!" She said and waited for the final bell to ring.

L's P.O.V

He started thinking back at her somewhat cuteness 

Flashback

"Well, I actually wanted to know if you would hang out with me today?" She looked at him. He looked at her really confusingly 

"Hang....out?" 

"Yeah, I mean if you can't it's totally fine" She said looking at the ground kicking her feet. He smiled a little and thought about it.

"Hmm well I am not doing anything sooo yeah sure" She looked at him and smiled really big

End of Flashback

L smirked "Well this is going to be fun I guess" He thought and fell asleep, then he heard the final bell ring. He woke up and started stretching his arms

"Ahhh well that was a nice nap" He looked at his phone and got up "Well I guess I should start going to the gate now" He went outside to see if she was there and she wasn't, he looked at his phone again

"Hmm maybe I came early? Well who cares might as well wait I guess" He put his earphones in and listened to his music. Then suddenly he felt a light tap on his shoulder and turned around and saw the weird girl. He took his earphones out

"Hey! did you wait long?" She asked

"Nahh I just came" She nodded and sighed with relief

"Phew, ok good now lets go!!" She started pulling him

"Where?" She looked at him and smiled

"Where else to hangout, that is...to the park!!" She started laughing. He gave her a weird look and just sighed. They both reached the park and she made him sit on a bench.

"Ok~now you wait here while I buy us ice cream" She got up and walked away

"I wonder why she wanted to come to the park?" He thought and he saw her walk towards him with a vanilla and chocolate ice cream, she handed him the chocolate one.

"Here you go~ hope you like it" She said and he just took it 

"Thanks" They both just sat down quietly eating the ice cream. Suzy thought it was best to break the ice

"Soo L, do you have parents?" She asked 

"Huh? What's with the sudden question?" He said

"Well I want to break the ice between us, unless you don't wanna answer" She told him, he just sighed

"My parents died when I was 7 years old, they were in a car accident" She looked at him, listening carefully "Me and my parents were going to go to the amusement park that day but my parents had work to do and told me they were going do it quickly and come back....when they finished a drunk driver was driving on the wrong lane and crashed into my parents car and they died instantly" He said still eating his ice cream, he thought it was really quiet and looked at her, and to his surprise she was crying. He was shocked and didn't know what to do

"Hey?! why are you crying" Trying to get her to stop crying.

"B-because you h-have a sad childhood, I am sorry for making you say this" He sighed, wiping her tears

"It's fine so stop crying" She wiped her tears and smiled

"Well do you want to hear my story?" He nodded, he thought it would be rude if he rejected even though he didn't want to after telling that story again. 

"Let's see my parents died when I was 7 too, but not from a car accident, it was a house fire....that I caused." He looked at her surprisingly. "I was playing in the kitchen and my mom was there and my dad was in the living room waiting, my dad called my mom and she told me to stay and not to touch anything.....ehehe I just nodded my head" She started tearing up. "When my mom left I got up on my chair and put the towel over the fire and it caused it to start burning down my kitchen, when my mom smelled the fire she screamed and ran towards me and we made it outside, but I realized I left my toy inside and I ran back to get it. My parents saw that and went back to get me, when I got my toy my parents were stuck and threw my outside, when I was outside the whole house collapsed." Suzy starting crying "I-if i-it wasn't f-for me t-then t-they wouldn't have died!!" She started crying and L put her head on his shoulder and petted her head. After an hour of that, they realized it was dark already, she looked at him.

"I'm sorry, I kept you" He shook his head 

"Nahh it's fine, I couldn't leave you here alone crying" She smiled and thanked him. They both had to go separate ways and waved goodbye to each other. Suzy started running towards her house and so did L, but he heard a scream. He turned around and started running and saw Suzy surround by guys (again).

"Damn!!" He saw one of them dragging Suzy to a car, he ran and jumped kicked him. 

"What the he-" The guy looked at him and jumped, L was way more than furious right now. The guy motioned the guys to fight him and they attacked him. L kicked them and threw them, they got scared and ran away. L ran over to Suzy

"Hey, are you ok?" He asked and Suzy just nodded, he saw that she was shaking and sighed he regretted letting her go alone. "C'mon let's go" He picked her up and walked to her house, when they arrived Suzy thanked him. L just nodded, he started walking and thought of something.

"Hey!" He yelled before she went in, she turned

"Yeah?" He walked up to her and held out his hand, Suzy gave him a look and she knew what he wanted. She gave him a high five. L looked at his hand and then at her

"No!!! I'm not asking for a high five, I am asking you to give me your phone." Suzy's mouth was an O shape and started blushing

"Ohhh sorry hehe" and gave her phone to him. "Uhmm what are you going to do?" He didn't answer her question and punched his number in and handed it back to her

"Here, my number is in your phone so if you want to hangout or if your in danger just call me...got it?" Suzy smiled and nodded her head "Ok good, anyway bye" He walked away, Suzy smiled and screamed

"THANK YOU!!! GOOD NIGHT L!!" He just waved his hand.

Suzy's P.O.V

She went in and went to her bedroom. She started giggling at what happened 

"Wow I can't believe I have his number now too?!? Maybe I should text him." She said and started texting him

L's P.O.V

He finally reached home and before he was going to sleep he felt his phone vibrate

"Huh?" He read his message and smiled a little

From: Unknown

Hello L, this is Suzy and just wanted you to have my number and thank you again, anyway goodnight~"He read the message and laughed a little 

"Man what a weird girl, whatever she's fun to be around" He smiled and saved her name on his phone "weird girl" He saved it and fell asleep.
