Jungkook and Taehyung were playing video games at Taehyung’s as they pigged out on junk food. As they pigged and played, they discussed the drama from the night before.

“According to Namjoon, Jimin likes EunSun,” Taehyung said as he started lap two.

“I think he does. I caught him looking at her last night instead of the movie. Jimin has it bad. Just as bad as I have it for EunAe.” Admitting how much he liked EunAe caused Jungkook’s cheeks to go red. He tried however to ignore it and focused on not crashing his car.

“Speaking of, we all saw the two of you fall asleep on each other. What was that like?”

“It was great,” Jungkook said. “It felt… right.”

“Does it make you want to confess to her sooner?” Before Jungkook could give his answer, his phone went off.

“Jungkook, get Taehyung and hurry over to EunSun’s. It’s an emergency.”

“What?” The line went dead and Jungkook turned off the game.

“There is some sort of emergency at EunSun’s we have to get going.”

The boys arrived at EunSun’s to see Jimin and Namjoon were wrestling each other on the ground as the girls tried their best to break them apart. The two ran over and Jungkook grabbed onto Jimin while Taehyung took Namjoon. Pulling them apart, Jungkook demanded to know what had happened.

“We are no longer friends!” Namjoon shouted.

“Agreed!” Jimin shouted back. The girls stood there as the two who were no longer friends were taken away from one another.

Jungkook brought Jimin down the street and didn’t let go until they had reached the corner and were out of sight of the girls and Namjoon.

“What happened?” Jungkook asked.

“That punk had the nerve to kiss EunSun. I lost it and brought him outside to talk and then we were shoving each other. Then I socked him across the face.”

“That punk is your friend,” Jungkook reminded. Jimin shook his head and took a deep breath.

“Not anymore.”

Taehyung was walking back to his place with Namjoon who was beyond furious. Taehyung didn’t have to ask what happened as Namjoon went off on a full blown rant.

“Jimin had no right to be mad at me and pull me away from EunSun. It’s not my fault he isn’t man enough to kiss her and tell her how he feels. EunSun likes me and my kissing her was not out of line. I can’t stand that kid. I’m done hanging out with him.”

“Hold up. You kissed EunSun?” Namjoon nodded. “Does that mean you two are like a thing now?”

“I don’t know. Jimin pulled me away before we could even talk about it.”

A week later EunSun walked into her parent’s restaurant and fixed her hair as she tried to stay calm. Today was her first official date with Namjoon. Jin stopped seeing EunSun all dressed up and went up to her.

“Does someone have a date?” he asked.

“Someone does,” EunSun answered, smiling. She looked around and saw Namjoon waiting at a table already. EunSun waved to Jin and skipped over to Namjoon. EunSun stood in front of the table and greeted Namjoon with a shy smile. Seeing EunSun dressed up, Namjoon couldn’t help but think he made the right choice. Sure, he may not be talking to Jimin as of right now. But he had a girlfriend that he couldn’t help but think looked stunning.

“I’m glad we’re doing this,” EunSun said as she sat across from Namjoon.

“So am I,” Namjoon agreed. The two ordered their food and sat there quietly while they waited. They smiled at one another, not sure what to say.

“I know you and Jimin aren’t exactly talking right now,” EunSun began. “But you guys are going to be friends again, right?” EunSun saw Namjoon tense up. This was a touchy topic to bring up. And on their first date of all places.

“Jimin and I will be friends when he apologizes for what he did.”

“Apologize for what? According to Jimin, you should be apologizing to him.”

Namjoon slammed his fists down on the table and EunSun regretted bringing up Jimin entirely.

“Are you going to believe Jimin or your boyfriend?” EunSun wasn’t given the chance to respond as Jin came up to take their order.

Namjoon ordered for them and sent Jin off. He looked at EunSun and sighed, easing up a bit.

“Why aren’t you two talking?” EunSun asked.

“You mean Jimin didn’t tell you anything?”

EunSun shook her head. Namjoon couldn’t believe Jimin hadn’t said a word. Then again, Jimin was never one to broadcast his feelings to someone.

“It’s his fault. I can’t explain it, it’s complicated. Now it’s our first date. Can we stop talking about Jimin and focus on us?”

“That sounds good.”

The food soon came and they enjoyed it while talking about different things. None of those things included Jimin. After dinner, Namjoon walked EunSun home. He held EunSun’s hand, their fingers interlaced. EunSun had a smile that went all the way back to her ears. This was everything she wanted. Yet something seemed off to her.

“You like him right?” EunAe asked. After her date, EunSun had called EunAe to talk about how it went.

“Yeah. I like him a lot,” EunSun admitted.

“Then stop overthinking this and just be happy that Namjoon is your boyfriend.” EunAe was right and EunSun knew it. So she decided to ignore the little voice in the back of her head and continue to date Namjoon.
