Chapter six
Little moments of PeaceLetter to me from me
“If I told you, that you were going to die today. Would there be anything you wish you would’ve said to her?”
Tiffany was tapping her pen on the desk of her room, when suddenly the lights flashed. Smoke appeared and when the lights she witnessed a blur of red and a lone letter was placed right in front of her. She was scared. Thinking it was a black out, but she didn’t remember anything about that letter.
“A letter from you to you.” She whispered reading the familiar cursive writing she loved to use. She let her fingers run over the envelope. Before tearing it open. Her lips came to a thinning line as she let a small breath part them, “If I told you, that you were going to die today. Would there be anything you wish you would’ve said to her?” she furrowed her eyebrows, this is some sick joke she thought. “If I told you, that no matter how hard you tried in the future. It was already too late. She’s gone.” Tiffany pondered on the fleeting thought of Taeyeon, her heart subtly ached at the thought of her no longer.
“…If you died right now. Tell me that you wouldn’t have any regrets.”
A shiver ran up her spine.
“Tell me.”

“There’s something I need to say.” Tiffany let her hands fall into her lap as she sat on Taeyeon’s bed. The other girl sitting across from her giving her a puzzled look.
“For what it’s worth you had good intentions.”
“I really need to get this off my chest, before it’s too late.” Tiffany whispered, her eyes darting somewhere that wasn’t Taeyeon’s pretty face.
“Are you okay?” Taeyeon asked in return, worry laced throughout her voice, written all over her face and suddenly Tiffany felt at ease.
“I’m completely fine, except something inside has been killing me.” Tiffany breathed out. Taeyeon had been a friend since forever and she thought the feelings would eventually wither away but they never did. They never ceased, they never stopped. No matter how badly she wanted them too.
“And what’s that?” Taeyeon’s eyebrows stressed together, her hands were clammy. Nervousness etched onto her skin. Mirroring Tiffany perfectly.
“For what it’s worth, you really fought hard.”
“I think I’m in love with you.”
“But in the end you lost. So from you to you, Tiffany…”
“W-With me?” Taeyeon’s eyes had widen and her heart beat hard against her chest. Tiffany watched for any signs of panic but she only saw her reflection in her eyes. There had to be something, she thought. It wasn’t just her, she knew Taeyeon felt it too.
“If you told you that not all loves are strong enough to last if you let them rot away. If you told you that not everything works out when you want them too. If you told you that you were going to die today, is there anything you wish you would’ve said to her?”
“I love you too.”
“If so, what would that have been?”
