And here I am, in the middle of a party when Kris would leave for Canada any time soon. He’s probably at the airport at this moment—with Seohyun with him. I sighed and looked around. Everyone’s with their own partner. Even my partner for the night’s dance got his own date. Baekhyun looked at me apologetically and I waved at him, saying that it’s totally fine.

As I turned to the other side, I saw Junho looking at me slyly. Junho has this very cute eye smile that make girls swoon over him. I raised my brows at him and he shook me down with a simple smile. “I guess your partner ditched you.” He said. I chuckled—well…he’s not the only one who’s ditching me tonight.

“It’s okay. We won’t be performing right now anyway. Let him have his fun first.” I replied. I edged closer to my table and started to munch on the cheese cake again. Junho suddenly took the spoon off my hands and poked one small slice of the cheese cake. I pouted at him—no one steals food from me! But what he did next surprised me. Junho had the cake offered to me.

I looked at his outstretched hand and shook my head. I tried to take the spoon away from him but he already pushed the cake on my mouth. I had to open my mouth unless I want my lipstick to be smeared. Looking like the Joker is the least I would want on this night. And soon, Junho was called away and I was left alone again.

Thinking of Kris—I had never talk to him. For me to leave a message for him about his departure would be really weird, right? So, I texted my best friend and asked for her advice. What she said was totally irrelevant. How could I possibly ran off to the airport with this ridiculous dress and high heels—I never wear heels before, let alone run in them.

I met Kris on one of the camp for this performing group. He was tall and handsome and he could be totally awkward at times. He had this very deep voice and his eyes would twinkle in excitement every time he’s with his friends. I had never seen anyone so…beautiful. I had my eyes on him instantly. It wasn’t supposed to be more than a slight admiration but I broke up with my previous boyfriend because of it.

And I learnt from this small stalking session that he’d leave for Canada soon. I was scattered into pieces. Knowing that he has such a pretty girlfriend who he is madly in love with isn’t helping either. I was jealous—I admitted it but no—he is just a crush. I won’t let a merely crush to ruin my night. Tonight is my party. I’d get drunk and dance all over the place even if I have to.

But as soon as I got up, I sat back right away. On the entrance of the ballroom, I saw a sparkling prince. His eyes were searching for something in the room and I was getting nervous. On his hand, he still got his luggage—perhaps he’ll be leaving after this?—and on the other hand, he got a pink letter. I gasped. It can’t be the ‘stupid-confession-letter-I-wrote-in-haste-a-few-days-ago-and-chucked-it-inside-his-bag-when-he-wasn’t-looking’, right?

And when his eyes fell on mine, I swore—the whole world froze.
