They always told me you were bad, that you were going to hurt me. They always told me Hazards like you would make me regret ever being born. But you know what’s funny? I’ve met you, and I like you. In fact, I like you a lot. We’re from two different worlds and yet we’re the same.

I need to get the hell away from you but I can’t stay away.




In a world filled with magical beings such as Exceptionals, Alphas, and Hazards, there is no such thing as “ordinary.” 


 

Exceptionals

They are like wingless angels, right down to their sweet, pure disposition. Their powers are made to help and benefit not only themselves but the people around them. 

Physical Traits:
Exceptionals are beautiful, in an innocent, pure kind of way. Everything about them, from their tinkling, high voices, to their big, trusting eyes, make you want to protect them with all your heart and soul. If you have a maternal or fraternal bone in your body, you will love them, no exceptions.


Powers:
Like their physical traits, Exceptionals’ powers are very beautiful and innocent. They are there to bring happiness to those around them. However, the downside to their beautiful powers is that they are very weak, and cannot be used to harm others, leaving Exceptionals completely vulnerable and at mercy to those around them.




Alphas
The “good guys,” at least according to them. Like their name, they are the alphas of this world, and have the authoritative powers to prove it. On their 18^th birthday, they will go to the land of the Exceptionals and pick any one of them to be their mate. The two then will spend the rest of their lives with eachother, using the combined strengths of their powers to raise their family.



*~*QUICK NOTE: HOW CHILDREN ARE RAISED*~*
The child, upon birth, will be classified as an Alpha or an Exceptional. If an Alpha, the child on their 10^th birthday will stay with his/her mother and father in the Alpha homeland and will have his/her powers trained. If an Exceptional, the child, on his/her 10^th birthday, will be sent off to the Exceptional Homeland and will be kept there until their 18^th birthday.

Physical Traits:
Alphas, unlike Exceptionals, do not have fixed physical traits. Instead, their appearance differs from person to person. One alpha might be y while another is cute. The same applies to dispositions as well; It depends on the Alpha. But, if there is one thing that all Alphas have in common, it is their dominating personality. In other words….they do NOT like to be disobeyed.
 

Powers:
Alphas have very protective, controlled powers. They are used purely for protection and fighting and are often very powerful indeed. By law, they are not allowed to use their power to harm anyone around them unless they attack first. Any harm done on an Exceptional via their powers is a crime punishable by banishment. HOWEVER, if an Alpha is to see a Hazard anywhere near their family unit area, they are allowed to attack regardless of threat, age, or gender.





Hazards
Hazards are basically Alphas gone wrong. From birth, they are born with powers too strong to be controlled and are ultimately banished to keep the “normal” residents safe. They live in packs, wandering like nomads around the barren wasteland that lies beyond the civilized barriers of the Alpha, Exceptional area.

Though coming near civilization is punishable by death, some brave Hazards, knowing how vulnerable Exceptionals are, sometimes break into the Exceptional homeland and wreak havoc by stealing food. In the process, they often end up hurting the angelic Exceptionals with their uncontrollable powers. Because of this, the already feared Hazards have earned the reputation of being the most disgusting, evil, beings that ever walked the face of the earth.

Physical Traits:
Hazards, surprisingly, have very fixed traits similar to Exceptionals. All Hazards have looks that are very ually attractive, and usually have personalities that go along as such. Alphas have marked it off as just another dangerous thing about the Hazards. They are very hard to resist.

They also have a 'H' tattoo on their neck so that others can instantly recognize them as a Hazard. 

Powers:
Hazard powers are out of control. They are violent, dramatic, and more often than not, excruciatingly painful. Not only can Hazard powers cause physical pain, but some Hazards even have powers that can cause severe mental/emotional pain. In other words, if you see a Hazard, RUN AWAY.
