Douleur.
I am S.Y 2mon coeur....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The night breeze sent sharp stings on my skin.
I feel so drowsy and tired.
11:45 p.m
15 minutes until I leave Cyrano’s body.
I sighed.
I can’t make it to Tiffany’s apartment on time. I look in front and saw how the darkness eats the alleys ahead.
Why do I feel scared?
Was it because of my encounter with that lady?
I rubbed my hands together for the friction to give me a little amount of heat.
I’ve been to worse situation. I shouldn’t be afraid of whatever’s ahead of me.
I continued walking with my head down.
‘Death is the only way…’
I clenched my fists.
I can’t…

Flashback
…
I faced her and saw her grinned.
“Wh---who are you?”
“You…” She pointed her long-skinny finger at me.
“..are a body-thief right?”
My whole body froze. Even my soul.
“How did you know?”
She laughed out loud.
I pulled my wrist back.
“Who are you???” I said in an agitated tone.
She crossed her arms and stared at me with a teasing expression.
“I am K.B., someone who’s like you.” Her words fired at me. I felt being shot.
How….how….there’s someone else that has the same dumb fate as me?
My hands shivered in both feared and curiosity.
“How??”
“How? Haha! Do I even have to explain? Do you want me to retell about our bitter destiny? Or make it better for your ears?” She asked before laughing.
“I’m sorry. I…I didn’t know that someone else lives like this besides me.” I said hiding my hand on my pockets.
“Oh please….we’re a bunch of hundreds all in all!”
The information shocks me. How do I react? Should I feel happy now that I’m not alone? Should I still be lonely for the fact that there are more who’s been suffering with the same fate? Should I be afraid….afraid because….
“How did you find me?” I asked sternly.
“Easy. I observed you. The coffee house this morning up to the dinner date with Miss Blonde.”
“You mean…you stalked me?”
“Well yes.”
“But anyone else would normally do the same activities in a day. How did—“
“I know a body-thief because I am one. It takes one to know one.” She cut me.
“Okay…so what do you want from me?”
“Nothing, really. I just want us to chit chat. You know, before we leave this body.”
“I’m sorry. I’m supposed to meet someone before midnight.”
“Someone significant?”
“For this dude, yes..”
“And for you?”
“I’d lie if I say no.”
She smiled.
“Good. How important?”
“I don’t know.”
“I know whatever that is.” Again, I look at her with eyes full of questions.
“May I…May I ask some things…”
“Shoot.”
“Hmm…how long have you been…you know doing these stuffs?”
“Ask that to yourself.”
