Only My Job and Nothing More
Description
Jonghyun is ordered by a fairly rich company to attempt to change the mind of the next heir of their rival company. Jonghyun is one of their smartest workers, and they would even pay him triple for his job, and even more if he was able. The thing is, the next heir, Kim Kibum is just as smart as Jonghyun is, and maybe even smarter. If Kim Kibum weren't to take on the company, there may be doubt in his company's success - a huge advantage to Jonghyun's company. Jonghyun agrees for his company, but a big part of him just wants to do it for the money. Jonghyun has already devised a plan - but if even anything little goes wrong, it'd be ruined.
Foreword
-"Here. Do you know this person?"
-"No, sir, I do not."
-"This is Kim Kibum. He's the heir of our rival company."
-"Sir, what is your point?"
-"Kim Kibum is smart, Jonghyun. If he were to take over the old man's company, we're done. Do you know what this means?"
-"We'd go out of business, sir. I'd lose my job."
-"That's right. And Jonghyun, we know you're smart. You may even be the smartest in here."
-"What do you want me to do? Become smarter than him and come up with plans better than his?"
-"Oh no, Jonghyun. We need you to do something much more."
-"Sir..."
-"I want you to do whatever you can to change Kim's mind. Do you know where I'm heading?"
-"Certainly, sir. I'm just not quite sure if I'm who you are looking for to do this job."
-"I'm sure, Jonghyun, I'm sure...And I also know your family is quite in debt. I can pay you triple, quadruple, even more, if you can do this job."
-"...I won't fail you, sir."
-"That's good to hear, Jonghyun. You may head out."
-"Good day, sir..."
A/N: First fanfic? Quite nervewrecking , ehe. Anyway, I don't think the foreword is hard to understand is it? o_e
Blue is Jonghyun's boss. Green is Jonghyun.
This isn't my writing style, but the foreword is just like a playback before the story starts, aha. >_< The rest of the story would be written differently...
But this is a first, so it'd be great to get even one review, haha.
