At some point during the ride, the rain had started and was coming down hard. Everyone had fallen asleep and Bohm was enjoying the peaceful drive, especially with Emi next to him. Bohm pressed on the brakes to slow down a bit. He looked down at the speedometer, the speed was still the same. "The hell?" He whispered and pressed the brake pedal all the way to the floorboard, still the car was not slowing down nor stopping. Suddenly they were going down a hill and the speed started to pick up. "!" Bohm yelled out, causing everyone to stir from their slumber.

Emi woke up, "Bohm slow down!" She panicked.

"I can't!!" Bohm said.

"WHAT?!" Mike and Emi yelled.

"The brakes are out, no matter how hard I step on it, we're not slowing down."

Niddie was shocked to silence. She stared wide eyed as the scenery before her came fast. A sign for a sharp turn came out of nowhere.

" ! EVERYONE BRACE YOURSELVES I'M GOING TO TRY USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKES!" Bohm yelled out. Niddie held on tight to her seatbelt and tightly shut her eyes.

"Golf. I think I'm going to be with you soon." She said in her head.

Bohm raised the emergency brake handle, the tires instantly locked up and their car started to spin. Niddie didn't scream nor did she breathe, she just waited for the worst, well in Niddie's case right now maybe she'd rather be dead...All Niddie heard was Emi screaming and a loud crash as the car rammed into something. The sounds of shattering glass and metal grinding made Niddie's stomach turn. It was like she was on a really bad carnival ride that had gone wrong. Niddie felt something heavy land against her and grabbing her, but her head jerked and slammed against the window causing her to blackout.

The sound of rain hitting the car slowly brought Niddie too. She was having a heard time breathing as something laid on top of her. She slowly blinked her eyes open, her head was pounding. She tried to shove whatever it was on top of her off. She heard someone grunt. She nudged it again, it grunted again. She finally got her eyes to focus and all she saw was black hair. She started breathing heavily, "IT'S THE GIRL FROM THE GRUDGE! I'M GONNA DIE!!" She screamed in her head. The head of black hair started moving, Niddie squeezed her eyes shut.

"Are you ok?" The sweetest deep voice asked her.

She opened her eyes, Mike was staring at her. Their noses almost touching. Niddie nodded, for some reason being this close to Mike was nerve wracking. Mike sat up groaning in pain. "Emi Bohm. Are you guys alright? Is anyone hurt?" He asked shaking them both.

Emi shook her head, still in shock from everything. "I'm fine. Just a couple of scratches. Nothing to worry about"

Bohm grunted, "Yeah. I'm fine. AHHH!" Bohm yelled in pain when he tried to move his arm a bit.

"What's wrong?!" Emi yelled turning to him and giving him a once over.

"It's my arm. I don't think it's broken, but it sure hurts like hell." He said grinning at her. She slapped him in his arm, causing him to yelp again. It was dark already and it was still raining.

"We better just stay in the car tonight. Once morning comes we'll go out and get help." Mike said. Everyone nodded. No one said anything as they slowly fell asleep. Mike and Niddie were the last ones awake. Mike watched Niddie as she sat staring out the window in the darkness of the night. He watched as tears slid down her cheeks and she tried to wipe them away quickly without him seeing it. She finally fell asleep after a few minutes. Mike leaned against his side of the door and curiously watched as she slept. He noticed that she was starting to shiver a little. He took a closer look and from the moonlight her face looked really pale. He placed his hand on top of her forehead and she was breaking out in a cold sweat. Mike sighed and started to pull her closer to him.

She woke up, "What are you doing?" She asked breathlessly, turning him on a bit.

"Just come here." He whispered to her. She didn't fight it. She wanted to be close to him, at least for now. Before she had to find him that one girl of his dreams...and before Kon made her his wife forever. Niddie scooted closer to Mike, he threw his left leg on the seats and leaned against the door. Niddie got up close to him and laid her head on his chest, his head instinctively laid against hers. He threw his jacket on top of her to warm her up a bit and his arms wrapped around her. She smiled as she fell into a deep comfortable sleep in his arms.

The next morning Niddie woke up and didn't dare move, she wanted to stay like this as close to Mike for as long as she can. She opened her eyes and found Emi staring at her grinning. Niddie quickly sat up causing Mike to wake up too. Niddie slid back to the other side of the car. Mike yawned and got up as if nothing happened.

He nudged Bohm awake, "Hey let's go check out the car."

Bohm nodded in his sleep.

Mike rolled his eyes and got out of the car. He pulled Bohm out from the driver seat.

"NO MA! FIVE MORE MINUTES!" Bohm yelled.

Mike smacked him in the back of the head. Bohm opened his eyes, "Oh." was all he said. Niddie and Emi giggled from inside the car. They both got out as well to look at the damage. The tail end of the car had smashed into a tree and from the looks of it, the car slid down a little hill.

Niddie grabbed Emi's arm. "Hey I have an idea. Let's go check things out up there while they check on the car." She whispered.

"I don't think thats a good idea."

"Just come with me." Niddie said. Emi just nodded. "Mike Bohm, we'll be right back. If you can't get the car to start just wait at the top of the hill for us with the bags. We'll be right back." Niddie called
