The story follows the real time setting with some flashbacks thrown in. The chapters are fictional depictions of SNSD's life based on what the author knows about them as individuals, as idols, and as a group, and what the author imagines them to be off camera.

The story mainly revolves around friendship and love; the love-line features the known OTPs of the group.
