Trust Me

Sulli had dinner with Heechul. It was sad to know that he is leaving tomorrow when he just got here the other day.

“Why can’t you stay a bit longer?” asked Sulli

“I…have commitments to fulfill in the US. I just really wanted to see you and talk to you that’s why I visited.” Said Heechul

“Umm…It’s because of the gifts?” asked Sulli

“Please just accept them. And if you have time, please don’t ignore my letters.” said Heechul “It’s really making me anxious when I don’t know how you are doing.” 

“Oppa…Can I be really honest with you?” asked Sulli

“Yes…yes you can.” Answered Heechul though he is already nervous of what Sulli will say

“The gifts..you confession…are you trying to court me?” asked Sulli

Heechul is surprised at the question and had to laugh.

“Do I really have to say it explicitly?” asked Heechul

“Um…yes, or I might misinterpret.” Said Sulli

Heechul touched Sulli’s hand across the table.

“Yes…If you can be my girlfriend, that will make me the happiest man alive.” Said Heechul

Sulli’s heart is beating fast. She’s nervous…now that it’s already confirmed, what will she do?

“Oppa…Now that I just entered Sun Life…I don’t think I’m ready for a relationship.” Said Sulli

“And I will not push you. It’s unfair to ask you to be my girl when I’m about to leave for the US. But seeing you OK and knowing you don’t hate me… that’s enough for me for now.” Said Heechul

“Oppa, Don’t you want to try and look around for other women? I mean…I’m sure there are others out there who’s beautiful and who can make you fall for them. In Sun Life there are hundreds of beautiful women. “ said Sulli

“And hundreds of handsome men too. So…Do you fancy any of them?” asked Heechul

Sulli almost choked.

“Fancy?!” asked Sulli

“Don’t hide it because you know I like you. I want the honest Sulli who tells me everything.” Said Heechul

“Umm…There are indeed a lot of good looking guys. There were even celebrities who study there. Actors, idols, models…” said Sulli

“And the WW club.” Said Heechul

“Ah…yeah…the WW club.” Said Sulli

“I heard their extremely good looking people. Minho Choi is their leader, right?” said Heechul

“Ah…yes…” said Sulli

“You look close. You were talking earlier in that room right after the competition?” asked Heechul

“Ahhh…yes…there were just some things that had to be cleared…He was the judge right? And I was the organizer. “ said Sulli

“So you’re not close with him?” asked Heechul

“Umm…no…we’re not that close…we rarely talk.” Said Sulli

“Good…I was worried that you two looked close…I was beginning to get jealous.” Said Heechul

“Oppa, stop saying those things. Minho Choi is an extremely high person to reach. He’s like up there and no one could get close to him except the WW club. He will never pay attention to an ordinary student like me.” Said Sulli

Heechul went home tired. He immediately lay down the living room sofa when he got home. He placed his arm on his forehead and closed his eyes.

“You should have stayed home.” said Minho

“It will be a waste of time if I stay here.” said Heechul

“You didn’t trust that I will keep my word.” asked Minho

Heechul took a deep breath.

“I trust that you will take care of her. I know you will keep your promise…But I couldn’t control myself anymore. I don’t know if you’ve ever been in love before. But the feeling that you’re going crazy thinking of the person you love…that was too much to bear for me.” Said Heechul

“I am not that cold of a person.” Said Minho

“Not being able to show how you truly feel about a situation because you always want to look in control of everything, that’s the Minho everyone sees.” Said Heechul

“That’s why we’re opposites. You always show how you feel. You always tell how you feel. You don’t hold back. That’s why you are ending hurting yourself like this.” Said Minho

“I am hurt physically. But I am a happier person inside.” Said Heechul “That’s better than looking physically in control, but you’re breaking inside.”

It was Minho’s turn to take a deep breath.

“ If you do this again, I will not hesitate on leaving her alone.” Said Minho “And when I say I’ll leave her alone, the world will surely suddenly become more complicated to her than it already is.

Heechul opened his eyes and sat
