After Story: A Summer Day
I Met Him When I Fell
"Guess who?" Said a familiar voice
covering your eyes. "Min ki!" You
said removing the hands. "How did
you know?" Asked your 3 year old
son. "What mother wouldn't know?"
Ricky said with a chuckle. Min ki ran
into Ricky's arms and hung on his
father's neck. Ricky pulled down and
tickled him. "Daddy stop stop!"
Pleaded Min ki through fits of
laughter. Ricky gave in and let him
go. Ricky crawled across the green
grass of lawn to you and rested his
head on your lap. You wound your
finger around strands of his hair. He
rolled over on his back and looked up
at you. You smiled warmly and
continued playing gently with hair.
Ricky took a deep breath and closed
his eyes, pretending to sleep. You
watched Min ki laugh and roll around
in the grass playing with your dog.
Life was pretty good. "Saranghae."
Ricky whispered up to you. Life was
amazing.
