Prologue Pt.4

I look up when I hear a muffled gasp. When I see who it is, my eyes widen in shock. “Hyukjae?” I say softly and he nods. “I’ll let you two have some private time.” Sora bustles off and Hyukjae quietly walks over to me, and as soon as he gets next to me I reach out and grab his hand. “You’re… you’re awake?” Hyukjae asks, his voice low. I nod and pull him close for a hug. We stay like that, refusing to let go of each other. After awhile, we break apart and I notice Hyukjae’s face is wet. “Don’t cry~” I gently kiss Hyukjae’s forehead before pulling him close for another hug. “I’m sorry, it’s just it’s been so long…” I pull away and gently wipe Hyukjae’s tears away. “How long was I asleep?” Hyukjae looks at me, and I can tell he doesn’t want to say. After awhile, he sighs. “You were asleep for five months.” I look at him with wide eyes, and he nods. Hyukjae pulls me close and I close my eyes as I hug him tightly, whispering so that only we can hear. “Saranghae Hyukkie~”
