You Are Special
I Really Like You
After school you went to the
neighborhood park. You sat in the
swing and pushed yourself gently.
"How could I be so dumb!" You
thought to yourself. "How can ask
him to forgive me. I was
unappreciative and rude." You
thought remembering the evening at
this park a several weeks ago. You
cringed just thinking about it. "I said
such horrible things." Tears were
now steadily flowing down your
cheeks. "Why are you crying, miss?"
you looked up startled to see Ricky
looking at you curiously. Your heart
shattered into a million pieces when
you saw his face, "I made a big
mistake. Now I'm afraid someone
very special to me will hate me."
Ricky looked at you with sorrowed
eyes. "If someone was special to you,
than wouldn't you be special to that
someone?" You nodded at the him.
He continued, "If something breaks
that is special, don't you try to fix it
because it is special to you?" Your
tears flooded your eyes clouding
your vision. "That someone will try to
fix you if you are special to that
someone."
