His Fault
I Really Like You
You met your boyfriend outside the
school and you walked home with him
every day. You thought you liked him,
but Ricky's tearful face from that
day haunted you. He started coming
to school more, but he was talking
less. He avoided you, as you had
asked him too. People tried to
comfort and cheer him and he was
obviously trying. But what bothered
you most was his smile. He sat
behind you in class, but instead of his
usual cheerfulness his eyes looked
past you, emotionless. When he was
with other people he would force his
smile and laugh, but it wasn't genuine.
And his smile, his beautiful smile, was
gone. "What am I thinking?!" You
shouted to yourself startling your
date. You shook your head viciously
trying to forced all thoughts of ricky
out of your head. "It's his fault. Id be
happy if it weren't for him!" You
thought to yourself. "Are you ok?"
Your date asked. You instantly
brightened and smiled at him, "Never
been better!"
