Description
Hyukjae is a young man who has never seen the outside world before. Ever since he was born, he was locked up in a house located on top of a mountain. He was far from civilization due to his caretaker, Jeon Doyeon, not wanting him to come in contact with the outside world or anyone in it. To her, Hyukjae was the most precious child to ever be born and she doesn’t want to risk him getting hurt. However, after spending 21 years locked up inside a house, Hyukjae wanted to go outside. What happens when a theif named Lee Donghae suddenly stumbles into his home when Jeon Doyeon is away?
Foreword
OMG. I WATCHED THE MOVIE TANGLED RECENTLY AND I LA-LA-LA LOVEDDD IT. IT IS DEFINITLEY ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES EVER. I got inspired to write this fic because man that movie is amazing. x] It won't be exactly like Disney's Tangled, but it will sort of be like it with a modern twist I guess? LOL. I was inspired to write this fic because in Tangled, Rapunzel has never seen the outside world and all she wanted to do was see the floating lanterns so Flynn takes her and along the way, he falls in love with her. OMG. <333 AND THE BOAT SCENE. OMG. I CRIED TEARS OF JOY. DJAKLRJKLEWRL
DON'T YOU GUYS THINK DONGHAE WOULD MAKE A GREAT FLYNN RIDER AND HYUKKIE A GOOD RAPUNZEL? I MEAN LOOK. (OK Ignore this this is just me fangirling out because damn look at Donghae and Flynn. <333 You can scroll down and see the major character list. LOL. )

Lee Hyukjae
Ever since he was a baby, Hyukjae has been locked up in a house. He was forbidden to go outside for even a second! He lives with a woman named Jeon Doyeon who he addresses as his mother. Doyeon treats Hyukjae like her own child and thinks he's the most precious thing there is in the world. She doesn't want anyone else to look at him or harm him in any way, thus she keeps him in the house. Hyukjae likes living inside the house, but he wants to go outside and explore the world. He wants to see the pretty city lights he reads about in books and breathe in the fresh air. One thing he wants to see the most, however, are the fireworks that are displayed every year on his birthday.
Lee Donghae
A theif. That was Lee Donghae to you. A greedy, dirty, yet unbelievably handsome thief. Donghae's goal in life is to have all the money in the world. However, being a college drop out, he isn't able to accomplish that goal due to him not being able to get a high paying job. Without an academic degree, the best job you can get is working at McDonalds behind the cash register. Thus, he results in taking other people's posessions and selling them to make his money. He doesn't care about the people he hurts. As long as he's happy, he could care less about anyone else.
Jeon Doyeon
Claims to be Hyukjae's mother. She loves the boy very much and is overprotective over him. Thus, she keeps him inside the house. Hyukjae was allowed to do whatever he wanted without Doyeon getting mad, but once he wants to leave the house to do something as simple as playing outside, Doyeon goes haywire. Only she is allowed to leave the house.
