FiveYears later
Seohyun came back from America a different person. She was now a successful lawyer. She wanted to erase pageant life out of her life but there was always thing in her that wanted to prove to herself. So she joined the contest that she rejected years ago again this time she had more credentials to show. She was not just a pretty face she was something more. It was a plus factor for her that she can speak in English and that she was a spontaneous speaker. Without a doubt she will have the crown and Yes she did she got the Miss Korea Universe title ,the title she wanted so much years ago. She cried her hearts out when she got the title it was such a fulfillment not just for herself but on the people who believed in her. It was a spit to the face to those who belittled her.
Yonghwa on the other hand was in New York completing his masters he had no idea that the girl he had hurt so much was so now so big in Korea.
Seohyun was an inspiration to everybody! Every girls in Korea if asked who’s their idol their answer would definitely be Seohyun.
Korea is expecting so much for her to win the crown. She was in so much pressure and so she needs to try her best to make them proud. She had workshops in different countries, from her walk, to applying make-ups and answering questions she had to be perfect.
Yonghwa’s mom who was with her every step of the way since she was the head of the Miss Korea organization has high hopes for her.
On the way to New York were this Years Miss Universe will be help Yonghwa‘s mom called his son before boarding the plane
“Yonghwa! You have to meet this years Miss Korea! She’s smart, beautiful and charming” was the first thing she told her son
“She sounds perfect mom” Yonghwa sarcastically answered
“She is” his mom giggled
“Okay! Mom if you say so! Just call me when you arrived” Yonghwa rolled his eyes knowing his mom every miss Korea is perfect for her.
“Okay! Son! Meet me in the airport when we arrive” she smiled on the phone
“Okay mom bye!” he waited for his mom to end the call in the other line.
Seohyun who heard the conversation between the mother and son just acted like it was nothing.
“You should meet my son Seohyun! His the sweetest you would love him! Girls will swoon on him when he was still in Korea” Mrs. Jung told her
“Sweetest my ” she taught but just gave Yonghwa’s mother a smile
“He must be a playboy then” Seohyun told Mrs. Jung
“Oh! Well yeah! But that’s how kids these days are right ? Hell probably get serious when he meets the one” she said to Seohyun
“Probably” she smiled
“Your to beautiful to not have a boyfriend sweetie” Mrs. Jung said to her
“I have no time for those stuff and besides I’m not into relationship” she told Mrs. Jung
“you were probably hurt by a boy right?” her mother asked
“Right! I was so hurt that I want to show him that the girl he look down upon have climb up” Seohyun was teary eyed when she said that
“Way to go sweetie!” Mrs. Jung patted her back and she just smiled.
When they arrived in New York Seohyun excuse herself first to the bathroom. She wash her face and look at herself in the mirror
“Are you ready for this Seohyun?” She asked herself as she fix herself.
“Mom!Mom!” Yonghwa shouted when he saw her mother
“Oh! darling !” she hugs he son.
“ So where is your oh! So perfect Miss Korea” he sarcastically asked his mom
“Oh! She will be here in a minute! You know beauty queens need to be perfect every time” she giggled and told her son
“Right!” Yonghwa said looking at his cell phone playing games.
“Oh! There she is! Seohyun Sweety come! I’d like you to meet my son Yonghwa” Mrs. Jung called Seohyun who was with her luggage.
“Seohyun? Did I hear it right? Seohyun?” he asked himself as he look at who his mother was calling. It was Seohyun the girl he was looking for long time ago is in front of him.
“Hi!” Seohyun said with a smile when she saw Yonghwa’s jaw drop when he looked at her.
“Isnt she perfect?” Mrs. Jung said smiling at Seohyun
“Huh?” he came back to his senses
“Yeah! She looks perfect” he looked down and proceeded to go to the parking lot where his car was parked
“Yah! Yonghwa help her with her luggage” his mom shouted at him.
“Oh!” he got Seohyun’s luggage and didn’t even bother to look at her
“I didn’t raise you to be like that son” his mom scolded him
“Sorry mom!” he said and put the luggage on the trunk.
His mom was sitting in the front sit while Seohyun was in the back. He would usually check on Seohyun in the front mirror while he was driving and all he can see was a sad expression and constantly looking out of the window.
“what hotel are you staying mom?” he asked still looking at Seohyun at the back
“Ritz!” his mom briefly answered.
“Okay!” as they were stuck in the New York traffic.
When they arrived they got their luggage and bid his mom goodbye
“Bye mom!” he hugs his mother looking at Seohyun
“Bye son!” she kiss his son goodbye as she and Seohyun went to their rooms.
It was pass midnight when Seohyun was watching TV when the door bell ring. When she heard the door bell she went up and look who it was as expected it was Yonghwa and so she ignored him and went back to watch TV.
“Yah! Seohyun! I know your there lets talk” he knock the door harder and Seohyun didn’t respond
“Seohyun! I know you too cant sleep! I cant freakin sleep as well! Lets talk” he shouted but Seohyun just ignored him and went to bed.
In the morning
“ Hi! Son!” he hugs his mom.
“Hi! Seohyun” he greeted her and she just gave him a nod.
“Son look at your eye bags! You haven’t slept last night” his mother asked him
“Yes!” he looked at Seohyun
“Oh! I forgot something in my room I’ll get it” his mom told him
“Oh! I’ll go get it” Seohyun offered
“No! its okay! I’ll get it” Mrs. Jung got her keys and proceeded to her room.
Things were awkward between the two and they didn't even talk to each other.
Few minutes later
“Excuse me are you Miss Korea Seo Joohyun?” a fan asked
“Yes!” she politely replied
“Can I have your autograph?” the girl asked
“Sure! No problem” she politely oblige and got the pen and sign her shirt.
The girl was looking at Yonghwa who was standing near Seohyun and Yonghwa just gave her a smile
“Is he your boyfriend?” the fan asked smiling at Yonghwa
“No!” Seohyun denied and concentrated in signing autograph.
“You two look good together by the way” the girl added when she looked at Yonghwa smiling at the girl and she just rolled her eyes
“well too bad his not my type” Seohyun told the girl and handed her the t-shirt
“Thank you!” the girl then left them alone.
“Your really popular now huh?” Yonghwa told her and Seohyun just nodded.
“Oh! What happened? “ Yonghwa’s mom asked when she came back
“Oh! A fan of hers taught I was her boyfriend” Yonghwa told her mother
“Oh! Really? She laughd
“You two look good together though” his mother jokingly said
“To bad I’m not Seohyun’s type!” Yonghwa told his mother
“Yeah! She hates playboys the most” she pinch his son’s cheeks.
They then proceeded to the convention hall to meet Seohyun’s fellow miss Universe candidate
“Wow lots of beautiful ladies” Yonghwa blurted out
“Yeah! Suit yourself!” Seohyun said and walk away from him. When they were practicing for their dance Seohyun can see Yonghwa looking at her. She got destructed and made some mistakes
“Miss Korea!” the choreographer shouted and Yonghwa then realize that she got destructed by him and so he waited outside.
“Seohyun! Lets talk!” he seriously told her when she went came out from the hall.
“what’s there to talk about Yonghwa?” she asked
“Us” he replied
“There was never us Yonghwa” She looked at him in the eyes
“Then let me say Sorry at least?” he told her.
“If that’s what you want then fine! Fine! Your forgiven” she rashly told him
“Your forgiven but I’m still mad at you?” Yonghwa told her.
“Its hard just hard” Seohyun look down
“ I know that’s why I want to do it step by step” he grabs her hand and squeeze it she just nodded and went inside his car.
Inside his car...
‘Your English is really good so this is were you’ve been hiding for the past 5 years huh?” Yonghwa said and Seohyun just ignored him.
"How are you doing lately Seohyun?" He asked but then he got ignored again.
"I guess your not in the mood for little talks huh?" Yonghwa said and shakes his head.
"I'm just tired okay" She said and close her eyes.
"I guess sleeping would help me avoid him" she told herself

sorry for the super late update guys works seems so hard for me lately :( so I cant seem to finish this. I have also been reading a lot lately and so it took up a lot of my time.
