“You’re only saying that to appease me.” She sobbed. “I know that you really don’t like me. No one likes me.”

“No, that’s not true.” He shook his head.

Divina was really pretty but she’s too young for him.

“Then tell me the truth!” she shouted as her sobs took over her. “Why can’t I be your girlfriend?”

He looked at her intently. It was breaking his heart to see her like this.

He didn’t have any other choice or rather he didn’t want his other choice so he drew in a deep breath and said, “I’m gay.”

Divina halted her sob and looked at him, disbelief was written on her face. “What did you say?”

Another deep breath, “I said, I’m gay!”

With his exasperation on the edge, he shouted, “Damn it! I’m gay!”

Just then, he heard a gasped behind him.

Clarisse was standing at the doorway, her hands were on and horror was on her face.

His eyes went into slits as irritation crept on him. The laughing hyena was supposed to know why he said that.

“So Jiyong, are you or are you not?” Divina was now a foot away from him and he swallowed hard when he saw her hands into a fist.

He looked at her then to Clarisse who was now clearly holding her laugh.

“I’m gay.” He said. His head swung to Top’s direction when he made another round of laugh. He walked beside him and placed his hands on the crook of his arm. “And he’s my boyfriend.” He flashed him an evil grin.

Top immediately pushed his hands away from him, “What the. . .”

“So that’s why!” Both of them looked behind them and saw Gian, Top’s girlfriend for three years now. “That's why you never . . . that you. . .” she shook her head. “That’s because you’re. . .”

“No.” Top said when he finally shoved Jiyong’s hand away from him. “That’s not true. I’m not gay. Jiyong was just playing. . .” before he could finish his speech, Divina made a dying whale sound that stopped him.

“I should have known. . .” then she dramatically let herself fell on the couch. “I’m that despicable . . . and ugly . . . and . . . and . . .” then she sobbed again.

“What the hell did you do to her?” Seung Ri dashed to her side, holding her hand. “Princess, tell me what they did to you?” he murmured gently.

Divina pulled her hand from his grip, “Get away from me, you prick!”

“I can’t believe this Top. . .” Gian whispered, tears were running on her face. “For three years. . .”

Top was about to walk towards her when a figure behind her suddenly appeared, turned her around to face him then hugged her.

“I told you he's not worth it.” Yongbae murmured to her as he hugged her and let Gian cry on his shoulder.

“Yongbae, let go of my girl.” Top said as he approached them.

But Jiyong held his wrist, “Let me” he whispered.

But before he could do or say anything, another dying whale sound was heard and a blonde guy shoved them out of the way.

“Divina!” Daesung called and cradled his sister. “Are you alright?”

Divina just sobbed.

“What happened?” Daesung asked.

“I think she’s just shocked at the news.” Clarisse answered.

The moment Daesung heard her voice, Daesung let go of Divina, making her fall back to the couch rather hard.

“Hi Clarisse.” Daesung said like a schoolboy seeing his crush for the first time.

Jiyong groaned. As he looked at the tableau surrounding him, everyone has different expression on his or her face.
