Description
What is perfection?
Is it someone that is beautiful? Someone that is a prodigy?
17 year old, Im Yoona, is far from perfect. Her grades are average and so are her scores for college entrance exams. At home, she suffers constant verbal abuse from her father. The only person she knows she can count on is her best friend, Kwon Yuri. Their friends think Yoona's constant pessimism is just a result from stress. However, Yuri starts to realize a change in Yoona. As graduation gets closer she sees Yoona caring less and less about school. Yoona goes to drink and smoke her problems away. At her worst days they catch Yoona giving herself self-inflicted pain. Obviously their friends try to stop her. Yoona would always smile and look cheerful around her friends, but Yuri knows Yoona is just pretending.
So what happens when Yoona starts questioning her value in the world?
A one-shot mostly in Yoona's POV.
Foreword
"Why can't you do anything right?! You're a failure you know that!"
I tried my best.
"You failed again?!"
I get it. I'm stupid. Just leave me alone!
"You're worthless."
I know. I'm sorry I wasn't born perfect. Would it make you happier if I left?
"Yah! Im Yoona! Don't listen to him. To me you're perfect!"

"Yoong!! Sica, Fany and I all got accepted into Seoul National University!"
"Congratulations Unnie" At least you're doing something worthwhile.
"You shouldn't stress so much Yoong. You'll get it next time."
"Unnie... I'm tired of trying and failing. No matter what I do I'm still a failure."
"Yoona. What's wrong with you lately?"
"Yuri Unnie... do you think things would be better if I was never born?"
