hello. consecutive 101 chapters yet again. i'm only matching words like tehse against each other because they sound similar. and they have almost similar uses. in this case, it's the plural and singular usage of words. whatarethesecalledagain? articles?
the fourth lesson is about the difference of this and these.
THIS : pertaining to a single noun; usually followed by 'is'; used for singular verbs. (weirdly enough, singular verbs are plural. s-v agreement.)
THESE : pertaining to multiple nouns; usually followed by 'are'; used for plural verbs. (s-v agreement. plural verbs are singular.)
bad example of this :
"This are the worst!" (easy to understand.)
bad example of these :
"These thing is getting on my nerves!" ('thing' is singular)
"This are the worst!" (easy to understand.)

good example of this :
"This tastes good!" (s-v agreement.)

"These look delicious." (s-v agreement)
