Foreword: 

Medical school wasn’t easy. Whoever told Sehun he could do it deserved a punch in the face. The student was awake, once again, at the disgusting hour of five am. His cup of coffee had been refilled at least three times during the last two hours. His hair was greasy and bangs stuck together as they fell over his forehead and out of his hand. After his long classes Sehun had fallen asleep the instant he laid down on his bed. What was supposed to be an hour nap, turned into a six hour one. He was now frantically trying to his finish his report for his eight am class. 

Yeah, that person deserved a real good punch in the face. 

But Sehun could have easily dropped out of medical school at any time. He had the money to go to another college and pick up another major if he wanted. No matter how stressful his days were, he always felt accomplished of his work. He wouldn’t still be losing hours of sleep and drowning himself in buckets of coffee if he didn’t love the medical world. 

His interest started when he was young. As a child he seemed to always fall and hurt himself. By the time he reached his teenage years he had already broken a leg and both his arms. Every time he went to the hospital was fascinating to him. He would always ask what they were doing or what the machine to the left was. The doctors, thrilled to see such interest always told him in detail. Even though Sehun didn’t know what they were talking about, he still memorized the functions of almost every machine in the cast room and x-ray section. 

Of course his parents were incredibly happy that their son was choosing to be a doctor. It was a brave and rewarding career for not only Sehun himself, but his family as well. His parents would be able to tell their relatives and friends that their precious son was a doctor. Sehun’s friends often laughed at him during high school. They all wanted to be rockstars or famous dancers. While those professions didn’t sound too bad to Sehun, he knew his heart was in the medical field. It was one of the things he was positive about.

Hello~ This is my first fanfic and i'm really excited about it. I've done little drabbles but never a chaptered story. Ah~ i'll try my best to update as much as I can, but with Uni keeping me so busy it might be a bit. The first chapter is about 50% done so expect that up in a few days.
