"Hello?"

"Earth to Myungsoo."

"Why doesn't he talk?"

"This is boring, let's go somewhere else." The boy shrugged and signaled for his friends to follow him. For the entire first month of school since this boy entered High School they've been trying to make him talk—even if it was just one word. They assumed he was mute and couldn't talk, or maybe deaf, but they never paid attention to him long enough to notice or care.

L looked up once they were gone and muttered, "My name is L." This group kept bothering him and he really didn't know why. Was it because he stood out because of his muteness? It wasn't like he was actually mute, he just didn't need friends at school.

He had a friend, a best friend actually and that was all that he needed.

L could remember the first day his best friend came into his life and imprinted on him after only a minute of knowing him.
